Goodbye 2024 and welcome 2025!

Hello girlies I've been a little missing in action lately, work and life gets in the way but I wanted to share with you this decor I did for NYE, sadly I made this before the Pop shop release so nothing from this collection is here

I wanted something fancy so I used the Wallpaper Geometric Black from DIY to give us the glam we want and added an angled window (technically a divider) to make something different and added a city background with the fireworks for New Years!

For furniture I went with the Big Soffa (yes with two f) from Millionaire Mansion and the Granite Square Coffee Table from Sweet Suites, when we use an intricate wallpaper we don't need much wall art so instead I used the Bathroom Mirror from Fallen Angel Decor

Drinks anyone? Come by the Yatch Bar and I will make you something, mojitos for everyone!

Even though I didn't use the latest Pop shop I added items from past collections such as: Happy New Year Cake, Metallic Melted Lamps, Sparkling Soda Bowl, etc

We can't forget music at a party so above the Mirrored Regency Table from Yatch Club I put the Wooden Radio from Pop shop

The last release of 2024 is a new Pop Shop New Year collection, and at least it arrived just in time for the celebrations—unlike the Christmas decor store, which sadly we didn’t get this year.

This release features two new floors, including an interior that resembles the Limited Edition interior from February 2015. This isn’t the only piece reminiscent of older LE items, as the Champagne Coupe Purse was also previously released in the Limited Edition collection from June 2023. But this isn’t the first time that Stardoll illustration team remake older items under different collections. 

Also, some surprises were delivered to the dolls' suites today! The freebies are traditional items used to celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah, an eight-day Jewish festival that commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the 2nd century BCE.

The freebies includes a Christmas Cracker, a traditional festive item, typically a cardboard tube wrapped in decorative paper. When pulled apart, it produces a small "pop" sound and reveals small gifts, a paper crown, and a joke or riddle inside. A Gelt Pouch, that contains golden coins, a tradition where children receive money or chocolate coins to commemorate the miracle of the oil. An Antique Dreidel, a four-sided spinning top used during Hanukkah. Each side features a Hebrew letter (Nun, Gimel, Hei, and Shin), forming an acronym for the phrase "A great miracle happened there." It's played in a fun game where players win or lose tokens based on the side the dreidel lands on. And a Cracker Prize Crown, these paper crowns are found inside Christmas crackers. They’re worn during festive meals, adding a playful and celebratory touch to the occasion.

This Friday brought us a new Evil Panda release. As soon as I saw it, I could tell it was designed by Laneki, which was later confirmed that all the items were illustrated by him. It wasn’t because the illustration style that gave it away, but how cohesive the entire collection feels. I’ve been loving the direction he’s been taking with this store since the previous collection.

The pieces are super cute and have a Y2K aesthetic, which has been trending for quite some time, and I’m absolutely here for it!

But the highlight of this release is definitely the abundance of accessories! The downside, however, is the type of store layout with hangers, it ended up filling four floors with accessories, while there’s only one floor of clothes. At this point, though, I don’t think they’ll be updating the display style of any store anytime soon, if ever.

For this Christmas Day, the final day of the Holiday Calendar, we received the Candy Cane Gown.

The dress is inspired by the 2019 Holiday Barbie Edition. I appreciate the idea of choosing a Barbie Holiday outfit, but I’m not a huge fan of this particular dress. That doesn’t mean I won’t buy it, though, n fact, I’ve already grabbed mine! Even so, I think it’s quite expensive for what it is.

It’s official, no Christmas decor release in time for Christmas this year. Instead, today we got a winter collection for the Winter Peak store.

The collection includes three new floors, featuring simple versions of a bedroom, living room, and dining room. While it’s not an amazing release, the items look good and can easily be incorporated into a wintery decor. The snowfall was a nice addition, reminds of the snowfalls from the old Seasonal store. Sadly, they can’t make animated items anymore..

It’s Christmas Eve, and we got a nice surprise in the holiday calendar, the Crystal Heels. They’re a bit pricey, but they look super cute. These heels are inspired by the Ivory Satin Pumps with Crystal Embellishment by Jimmy Choo.

This Christmas week should have started with a ’Tis the Season release, for obvious reasons, but instead, we received a new Wild Candy Couture collection.

The two new floors of the store include 29 pieces in total, all available for starcoins, which we love. Some of the pieces also have male versions. The clothing and accessories, though few, are worth it. The pieces are full of glitter and sparkle.

The collection isn’t bad, but it feels very “New Year” to me. I think not just me but everyone was expecting a Christmas decor release, as we haven’t had a proper one yet, just random items from the holiday calendar. The last chance for them to bring it would be Wednesday the 25th, on Christmas Day, but by then, it’ll be late since most people will have already finished their Christmas decorating.

For this Christmas Eve Eve, the calendar brought us a Red Heeled Stocking. I must say, I’ve never seen this type of stocking before, probably because hanging stockings isn’t a tradition here, so it was a surprise to see this item today.

I found some images of heeled stockings online, but none matched this one exactly. It seems the illustrator likely used a reference image as a base and then added decorative touches like the bow, snowflake embroidery and gifts inspired by other pictures.

Hello everyone and welcome back to a festive #DecorSunday! Being true and honest I haven't been that active and making decor hasn't been my priority but I still wanted to do something for the blog

This week's decor is not my best work and is very similar to last posts but still is effortless cute!

I used the Swedish Forest interior from Architecture, DIY Concrete Wall and DIY Floor Herringbone to make a base to our suite, I went for more warm colors this time

I wanted to use items from both the GOM and the Holiday Calendar for this suite like the Classic Christmas Tree and the Ho ho ho Gift Basket

For furniture the White Two Seat Sofa from Winter Peak plus the Glass Tables from Fashion Furniture worked perfectly and with the Geometric Area Rug everything came together 

I wanted to use Basics Decor because the last collection was amazing and because the colors matched very well with our items, the Minimal Fireplace Cream is the central point of our decor and the Cushion Basket Cream brings the cozy vibes

On Saturday (21st), the Holiday Calendar surprised us with the Fruit Christmas Tree, an intriguing choice, I’d say, but not a bad one. It’s refreshing to see something that can be used for tropical summer Christmas decor, considering some countries don’t have snow during this season.

For Sunday (22nd), the item of the day was the Plaid Mini Skirt. So far, it’s one of my favorite pieces from this year’s calendar. I just wish they had leaned into this vibe for some of the earlier items we received.

Now, for the real life inspirations: The Fruit Christmas Tree was found on Pinterest (shocking, right?), and it links to a Brazilian blog post with tips for decorating a Christmas table. Unfortunately, I couldn’t confirm whether the ornament was made by the blogger or sourced from somewhere else. As for the Plaid Mini Skirt, it’s inspired by Zara and have a matching blazer, hope we can get it in the Calendar as well. You can check out both below:

Practically a year after the last release, we finally got a new Sunny Bunny collection today. It's kind of sad that this store has now become seasonal for Christmas, given the iconic releases they used to serve us.

The collection features two floors. The first floor has some cute pieces that resemble Sunny Bunny's former aesthetic. However, I feel the Sugar Thrillz bunny look on the first mannequin doesn't quite fit here, it would have been better in an Easter collection. That said, I really like it and will definitely be buying it.

The second floor is mostly filled with outfits inspired by the movie Elf, a Christmas classic. I'll admit, I'm guilty of suggesting the pink outfit in one of the Royalty Club discussions about Christmas releases, but I wasn’t expecting them to actually bring it, or to include even more items from the movie.

The Oversized Brown Suede Shirt is today's holiday calendar item. While the shirt looks good, it doesn't have the "wow" factor you'd expect from a special holiday release. To be honest, most of the items so far haven't really had that extra festive sparkle for the occasion.

Yesterday, Stardoll also brought a Celeb Fit release! The chosen celebrity outfits this time were from Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, and Stardoll’s new favorite, Chapel Roan.

Hailey Bieber’s look was from her 28th birthday party. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a good-quality picture showing the full outfit, including the shoes, as the only complete one was posted on Instagram with a caption covering her feet.

The second outfit is inspired by Rihanna, who wore a Christian Lacroix FW02 look at the Fashion Awards 2024. All the red carpet photos of the Only Girl In The World feature her Rude Boy by her side, no solo shots that I could find.

Lastly, Chapel Roan’s outfit is from The Blonds FW23, which she wore for the Netflix special Nonsense Christmas, also starring Sabrina Carpenter. I’m surprised Stardoll didn’t bring both outfits, as they love her as well. I couldn’t find any solo pictures of Chapel either.

Oh well, someone (me) was busy these past two days and wasn’t able to post here on the blog, sorry for that! But now, to catch up with the holiday calendar releases, I’m here to show and record the special items we received for Tuesday (17th) and Wednesday (18th).

For day 17, the item of the day in the calendar was the Christmas Tree Dress, a very questionable choice, I’d say. But since we already had a Christmas Tree Hat for day 1 (spoiler alert: more on how they’re related below), having a Christmas Tree Dress wasn’t exactly surprising.

For day 18, we had something not Christmas related: the Bottega Cassette Bag. I must admit, this year I’m liking the fashion items that aren’t directly tied to Christmas more. They seem to be making better choices with these than with tree hats and dresses.

As I mentioned above, the Christmas Tree Dress is directly linked to the Tree Hat released on day 1 of the calendar, as both are part of a Christmas costume for kids. You can check the picture below to see how it looks in real life. Even though I didn’t like it, the real life version looks better than the Stardoll one, as the in game version isn’t very detailed or accurate.

As for the bag, it’s inspired by a Bottega Veneta mini bag, as clearly referenced in the item’s name. You can also see how the real life bag looks below.
