The 2016 throwback trend is going a bit too far, because it looks like it has even reached Stardoll. Today, we were surprised by the comeback of the 10 HotBuys. 

The HotBuys returned revamped, with a new logo and new shopping bags delivered to our suites when we purchase the items this Friday (wish the bags were available for purchase as well).

I’m not sure if this is a coincidence with the tribute season, but (almost) all of the items are inspired by Prada, making the release feel like a mini tribute. The drop also includes a decor item, the dog, which brings back memories of when Stardoll used to include decor pieces in the monthly HotBuys as well back in the old days. That nostalgic touch was really nice to see.

What do you think about this comeback?

For the last Monday of 2025, Stardoll released a new PopShop collection, right in time for those who want to create a New Year’s decor. The collection has a Y2K club vibe, with lots of neon lights and iridescent pieces.

The Disco DJ Booth and the Vintage Photo Booth are really nice additions to the collection, and to the game in general. As far as I remember, we only had a very old DJ booth before and I don’t recall ever seeing a photo booth in the game.

The Falling Gems Spotlight might be my favorite item from the collection. When I first saw it, it immediately reminded me of Britney Spears’ Oops!... I Did It Again album cover. I do wish they were still able to design animated pieces, as some of these lights would look even cooler with a sparkle or shine effect, but given the circumstances, this is what we get.

This time, they didn’t include any clothing items in the release, which is understandable since the Wild Candy Couture pieces fit this theme perfectly. There are two starcoins items available: the Moon Ice Sculpture and the Celebration Drink.

We’re one day away from finishing the Holiday Calendar, and today we received a decor piece, the last item that was missing from the ones shown in this year’s calendar banner.

The item is the Dried Orange Garland, and it’s available for starcoins: 126sc at the promotional price and 140sc at the full price.

Many stores are making a comeback this year, and now it was time for ’Tis the Season. The last time we had a Christmas release under this brand was back in 2021.

Today we received a two floor release with a cozy Christmas aesthetic, the kind we’d usually call a granny house. I really loved this collection, and the interior looks great as well. Sadly, it arrived a little late for Christmas, as I assume (like me) most people already have their Christmas decor ready, considering today is already the 22nd and we’re only three days away from Christmas day.

Still, I’ll definitely be picking up some pieces to use in next year’s Christmas decor! We also have three starcoin items available: the Christmas Socks, Xmas Treats, and Xmas Centerpiece. Just like the other items, they look great and are very well made.

This Wednesday’s release was a new Film Theory with a Wicked For Good themed collection, the third release inspired by Wicked since the first movie came out last year. I honestly hope this is the last one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we also get a part II for this release.

The store has three new floors: the first two bring items that seem to be inspired by the movie characters costumes, while the last one contains looks worn by the cast during the movie premieres. 

There’s also the inclusion of two new pals for the Wizard of Oz and Madame Morrible characters, along with other well known characters from Oz, like the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man. The absence of the Scarecrow makes me think that it might be coming in another part of this release. 

The Pals of Glinda, Elphaba and Fiyero are shown in the store, but they can’t be purchased from these new floors, only from the older ones.

Today, we got the Red Bow Christmas Tree in the Holiday Calendar, which was also teased in the banner on the calendar page alongside the chair from day 12. The tree costs 19sd (17sd as shown in the image with the Royalty discount).

The inspiration was taken from TikTok, as we can see from the @ tagged in the picture, that is also available on Pinterest.

This year’s Christmas Gift-O-Meter is finally out! As usual, it features 10 achievement levels that unlock prizes based on how many stardollars you spend in Starplaza.

You can unlock the first tier by spending 15sd, and the final tier at a total of 300sd, just like in previous years. You have until January 7th to complete the meter.

If you’re planning to get all the prizes, I really recommend completing it as soon as possible. Every time we have a GoM, there are people who wait until the last one or two days and then complain about not receiving the free items.

The winter season has really arrived on Stardoll for Christmas! After last week’s Apres Ski release with winter clothing, we now got a new Winter Peak collection, bringing fresh winter themed decor to help create the perfect snowy atmosphere.

The two new floors added to Starplaza feature a winter landscape with a balcony and an outdoor snowy sunset view. Snowy details like the snowy soots and carpet give a really nice touch to the store. The bear also looks really good, but sadly it seems like its lower paws weren’t fully finished, which makes it look a bit incomplete and more suitable only for this specific setting.

This is one of those releases that makes me wish Flash was still around, so they could animate the Chair Lift, just like in the Alpine Chalet suite interiors. Also, thanks to whoever made the ceiling, it’ll be much easier to use it in my decors now. No more floor pieces turned upside down to make ceilings haha

In this release, there are two Starcoins pieces: the Hat and Coffee and the Old Teddy Bear.

This Sunday, the 7th, the calendar item was a new decor piece: the Poinsettia Candles. This is the first starcoin item we’ve gotten so far in this year’s calendar, hopefully we’ll see more sc pieces soon! It costs 99sc with the Royalty discount, and the regular price is 110sc.

The inspiration seems to come from Pinterest, which leads to a German webpage with a post titled “Poinsettia flower decorations: 12 wonderful ideas with poinsettia”. The site is still up, but I didn’t open it because it requires accepting cookies and I can’t read German to know what I’d be agreeing to lol. Still, I was really curious to see more decor ideas using poinsettias.

It’s the 5th day of the Holiday Calendar, and today we got a new decor item: a Yule Log plate.

A Yule Log (or Bûche de Noël) is a traditional Christmas dessert shaped like a wooden log, usually made of rolled sponge cake filled with cream and covered in chocolate to resemble bark.

The inspiration seems to have come from Pinterest this time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t trace the original source where the image was uploaded, as the link is broken, but here it is anyway.

For day 3 of the Stardoll Advent Calendar, we received a decor piece: the Antler Chandelier. The item was released super early, it appeared on day 2 in the front page at the “What’s New” section and in Starplaza and Suite Shop, but it could only be opened through the calendar at the regular release time, just like the previous two items. It costs 11sd with the royalty discount. 

The piece is inspired by a chandelier featured in a Ralph Lauren Home Christmas decor ad.

This Monday on Stardoll started pink and full of glitter with the comeback of Pretty n' Love Decor (which honestly looked more like an old days Kitsch collection). 

The release brought a 90's aesthetic, with furniture and decor pieces that made it feel like vaporwave took over the place (and I’m 100% here for it). The store has two floors and looks like a collage with a mix of toilet items, a bed, sofas, electronics and art pieces, which again evokes the vaporwave vibe.

There are four starcoin items this time. The're: Pink Stereo, Wavy Pink Mirror, Pink Overhead Lamp and Bedazzled 90s Cellphone.

I’ve seen many complaints about this store, from “wrong store to bring this collection”, which I mentioned and agree with, to people asking Stardoll to “stop bringing diagonal pieces”, which I honestly don’t understand since they’re actually good for giving a different decor perspective. And of course, we can’t forget the usual “inspirations taken from AI” but let’s be real: there’s not a single release where people won’t complain, right!? What are your thoughts on it?

Today's release is Basics decor, bringing a new kitchen setup after many complaints about Stardoll removing the previous floors that contained kitchen decor items.

The color palette for this release includes warm browns, black, cream and maroon for the furniture; chrome, brass and black for the kitchen appliances; and marble pieces in shades of green, white, black, and maroon.

I really liked this release, especially the clutter kitchen items they added to the store. Sadly, I’ve seen some comments about certain pieces being bugged, that annoying issue where items teleport to the center of the room no matter where you place them and some can’t even be resized to smaller.
