Moroccan inspiration

Moroccan inspiration

Hello dolls and welcome back to #DecorSunday! The very first of 2025 may I add, since it's summer where I live I've decided this month to (hopefully) make all summer related suites!

Not gonna lie It's been the hottest summer so far for me so I'm not a summer person but who doesn't love fresh summer fruits and vibrant colors...

For this suite I wanted something different and when I saw the Moroccan Tile Red from DIY I knew what I had to do...

This is one of those times I used a real life pic to serve as inspiration for a suite I wanted something Moroccan inspired very vibrant and colorful

This time I didn't use wood flooring instead I used the Mountain View Balcony from Winter Peak because it's a ceramic floor! (Or it looks like that to me) I used yellow as a wall color and it's my first time using that color and let me tell you I'm obsessed!

Now the interesting part of this part are the arches! Very typical in Moroccan pics I saw online I combined the DIY White Arch plus the tiles to make a wall and shelves for our room but the secret here is that I used an Stardesign egg upside down to add shadows to the arches to give more dimension

One of the reasons I made this suite was also because the Callie's Picks Decor collection that features middle east inspired furniture so we can grab a couple of items from that collection to be a little bit more accurate when decorating. One of the key features is the Mosaic Fountain

As for actual decorating I went for stores like Golden Sandals , Windows of The World , Fantasy Hotels and Villa, those stores that have a great variety of warm weather decor

To stay true to the aesthetic I put mostly Palm Trees for our plants and to put them in colorful vases to add more color too

So what do you think? Do you like this suite? Write down in the comments below and let us know what type of summer decor would you like to see 🌴☀️

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Goodbye 2024 and welcome 2025!

Hello girlies I've been a little missing in action lately, work and life gets in the way but I wanted to share with you this decor I did for NYE, sadly I made this before the Pop shop release so nothing from this collection is here

I wanted something fancy so I used the Wallpaper Geometric Black from DIY to give us the glam we want and added an angled window (technically a divider) to make something different and added a city background with the fireworks for New Years!

For furniture I went with the Big Soffa (yes with two f) from Millionaire Mansion and the Granite Square Coffee Table from Sweet Suites, when we use an intricate wallpaper we don't need much wall art so instead I used the Bathroom Mirror from Fallen Angel Decor

Drinks anyone? Come by the Yatch Bar and I will make you something, mojitos for everyone!

Even though I didn't use the latest Pop shop I added items from past collections such as: Happy New Year Cake, Metallic Melted Lamps, Sparkling Soda Bowl, etc

We can't forget music at a party so above the Mirrored Regency Table from Yatch Club I put the Wooden Radio from Pop shop

I want to wish everyone a great new year full of blessings and good energy ✨ see you in 2025!

Happy Ho Ho Holidays

Happy Ho Ho Holidays

Hello everyone and welcome back to a festive #DecorSunday! Being true and honest I haven't been that active and making decor hasn't been my priority but I still wanted to do something for the blog

This week's decor is not my best work and is very similar to last posts but still is effortless cute!

I used the Swedish Forest interior from Architecture, DIY Concrete Wall and DIY Floor Herringbone to make a base to our suite, I went for more warm colors this time

I wanted to use items from both the GOM and the Holiday Calendar for this suite like the Classic Christmas Tree and the Ho ho ho Gift Basket

For furniture the White Two Seat Sofa from Winter Peak plus the Glass Tables from Fashion Furniture worked perfectly and with the Geometric Area Rug everything came together

I wanted to use Basics Decor because the last collection was amazing and because the colors matched very well with our items, the Minimal Fireplace Cream is the central point of our decor and the Cushion Basket Cream brings the cozy vibes

Lastly I added seasonal decorations and added those Christmas doggies to be silly what do you think? Write down in the comments! Happy Holidays dolls! Feel free to share your holiday suites either here or in the chat page 🎄

Christmas in Summer

Christmas in Summer

I've been feeling very #Diva Down lately so I wanted to make something colorful to cheer me up

Since in the southern hemisphere we celebrate Christmas in summer time I decided to decorate a suite with colorful and tropical items!

To start I used the Pretty in Love Interior but any interior with a beachy theme will work too! Even the Beach Villa, if you have it, works as well!

Since our interior has floors, ceiling and windows already we don't have to worry about that so we can focus on decorating, to start with the furniture I used the Baby Blue Chase Lounge from Buy & Get (a freebie when Stardoll used to give you gifts when you renewed your membership) and for the table the Rattan Table from Tis this season was perfect! To be honest the whole beachy Christmas floor from Tis this season was the main inspiration for this suite

Beach Christmas Tree from Tis this season was very much needed here to bring the Christmas vibe and to keep the beachy aesthetic, also the Beach Christmas Wreath on the windows makes the room extra festive

I wanted to use something from the latest Basics Decor (amazing collection by the way) so I used the Wooden Shelves and cluttered it with books, on the same shelf I added some nautical decor like the Sailing Model from Fantasy Hotels and the Shell Decoration from Sweet Suites

As for plants in this suite I wanted a lot of plant life so the Tropical Fern from Callie's Picks Decor was great! it's big so I put it in the corner of the room and I added a Hanging Plant from Fashion Furniture because I really enjoy having hanging plants in my suites and the Potted Plant from Pretty in Love Decor with the colorful vase added more color

Since I've mentioned a lot of color I forgot the most important details: the rug and ceiling lamp! They were the first items I used and they basically dictated the whole color scheme of the suite and overall vibe; the Circle Lamp Fixture and Big Colorful Mat both from Fashion Furniture gave us the colorful element for this suite and the Barcelona Art from Millionaire Mansion matched so perfectly!

And that's it! What do you think? Write down in the comments! One of my dreams is to decorate in a more tropical way from Christmas since it's so weird to me all the decorations here are centered around snow and winter even though it is hot as hell in here 🌴

Let's get festive

Let's get festive

It's December so you know what that means! Christmas time!!

To be honest with you I'm not a big fan of Christmas decorating in real life, I think it's unnecessary, but I'm always happy to create something festive in Stardoll so this month we will have a variety of holiday suite designs on the blog!

This week I went with something simple yet classy, of course we needed some snowy interior to get that Christmas feeling so the Pals winter interior worked perfectly

I did a simple suite layout with the DIY Floor Wood and added the DIY Carpet Floor as a ceiling, the interesting detail here are the windows: I put the Open Balcony Door from Sweet Suites to act as windows next to the Marble Fireplace to make an unique shape and putting the DIY Muntin Window Frame makes the room more open and shows the cute interior we got even more

I kept the furniture simple with the Armchair White from Basics Decor and the Christmas Nordic Tree from 'Tis This Season and I added the Custom Birch Staircase from The JetSet to add more detail

So what do you think? Let us know in the comments below! Did you put your Christmas tree up already? ❄️

It's time for dinner

It's time for dinner

Hello and welcome once again to #DecorSunday! This week in the USA Thanksgiving was celebrated and in honor of that I did an elegant dinner scene featuring some the freebies Stardoll gave us to celebrate this holiday

I must say I really liked the color scheme this time it's kinda like a fancy rich family dinner like the Kardashians...

I started with the Pals Interior (which is surprisingly very nice for a store filled with tiktokers) to do something different this time instead of making a simple DIY room

Since it's a dinner party a big table with food on top is a must! the Big Dining Table from Fashion Furniture worked perfectly here and I put in the middle of it the Thanksgiving Meal freebie as our main dish

I decorated the table with the White Blanket from Basics Decor, the Side Dish Plate from Sweet Suites and the Orrefors Collaboration Glass from Minimalism, but of course the table itself shouldn't be the only thing decorated

On the suite itself I added the new fireplace from Millionaire Mansion and to be honest I liked how it matched the colors of the suite decor but I still don't know how to feel that it cannot be sized down so it doesn't cut into the roof

Since the interior had an angled wall the angled items work here for example the Lux Side Table from Villa and the Art Picture 1

Of course we cannot forget about plants! Strelizia In Copper Pot from Giardini is big and beautiful so of course we put it in the front of the suite in the back of the suite next to the fireplace the Brass Potted Plant Set gives the illusion of multiple plants and fills that space quite nicely

What do you think of this suite? Write it in the comments below and let us know what dessert you would bring to this dinner party 🦃

Cozy Cocina

Cozy Cocina

Hello and welcome to the first kitchen design in this blog!

I love making kitchens, either in Stardoll or the sims, I don't know there's something so cute about pixel food that makes me wanna put together a cozy scene

Since Stardoll has great kitchen/ food items this wasn't so difficult but this time I didn't use a typical kitchen counter I used the Wooden Cabinet from Fantasy Hotels mixed with the Jetset sink and oven plus the Basics Decor fridge to make the basic kitchen layout

I wanted to add a space where you can  eat in this kitchen or cook if you prefer so I went with the Wooden Coffee Table from Sweet Suites and you can see I went with a very dark autumn color scheme

Above the oven I put the Hanging Copper Pots from 9 to 5 because all fancy kitchens have them and I used the Dish rack Cast Iron from Fantasy Hotels above our sink

I went with details such as the stand mixer and the bowls on the counters and finished this suite with the addition of the cute Fendi Fluff from Furry Friends to keep us company while we cook a fancy lunch or dinner!

What would be the first meal you cook here? Let us know in the comments 🍂

A modern retreat

A modern retreat

Hello and welcome to a new #DecorSunday last week we did something classical a very Marie Antoinette room and this week I wanted the opposite...

To be completely honest this is not a new suite design this is actually one of my rooms that got a makeover some months ago... But I feel quite proud of it and the MSW decor store didn't inspire me that much to do something with it...

So anyways I started with the Minimalism interior and that way we have half of our job done since it's way easier to decorate an interior than do it all from scratch

The Fire Place from Millionaire Mansion was absolutely perfect for this suite since it matches so well with the colors but it gives that modern vibe and it's very big so it fills the suite without over cluttering

Since the interior has that skylight I didn't want to put a ceiling light in the middle but putting one in each side would have been very basic I instead used the Square Spotlights again from Millionaire Mansion to add an industrial touch to this room

The couch was a tough choice since a sectional sofa would have been great here but I went with the sofa set from Minimalism to add some color and underneath I used the Tree Ring Rug from Villa

Also from Villa I used the Jacquemus Runway Sculpture because I thought it was very cool and looked nice next to the fireplace

As for architectural details I added the Glass Room Divider from Minimalism to separate the space and to give more detail, the Where To Stairs from Winter Peak also worked in this room to create the illusion of a bigger space

Hope you liked this suite design and let us know in the comments what else you would like to see 🪴

A room fit for a Queen

A room fit for a Queen

These times where Miss Stardoll World season is slowly approaching us I decided to do something special for the occasion...

Most of the time dolls who want to participate create the typical simple suite with "vote me" banners and such, which to be honest one of my tips if you want to compete is to make a simple room without that many objects, that way when people visit your suite to vote for you they won't have issues with lag!

But today I wanted to showcase a regal and elegant room which is a little bit simple I know but I didn't feel that well and this room came together very quickly

I went with the Paris scene from DIY and as a window I used the Glass Room Divider from Pretty In Love which to be honest work way better as windows than dividers and as a base the DIY Floor Herringbone gives the old and fancy vibe

The Jonathan Sofa from Pretty in Love is a little bit modern but the color was nice and it goes well the Oriental Carpet from Opulence (Unrelated but who tf is Jonathan though? And why is his couch so nice) I decided to add a little bit of pink touches with the Curtain Powder from Callie's Pick Decor and the Blushing Pink Bouquet from Yatch Club

Even though this year's MSW colors are black and purple I did something lighter but still good for a time where all the dolls wear fancy dresses

What do you think of this room? Did you like it? Write it down in the comments! And would you like more MSW inspired suite designs? Let us know 👑

Trick or treat

Trick or treat

Happy Halloweenie dolls!

Instead of #DecorSunday I bring you today a special suite design in honor of Halloween!

Since I'm not good at spooky suites I did a Halloween dinner scene because spooky treats are my fav to be honest it's the most I like about this holiday aside from like horror movies...

To start this suite I decided to go for a neutral color with DIY Concrete Wall plus the Classic Wooden Floor

I used the Easter Dinning Table by Special Offer (the one from the GoM) to give a modern look and the fact that is black is perfect!

Now comes the fun part: the Halloween Cabinet Decor from Kitsch give us a variety of spooky food and decor in just one object so I put in the table and voila! Our food for the dinner party is done but of course when are not finished we need to add decorations for our guests

Above our window the Treat or Trick Sign, on the fireplace, on the floor the Glass Pumpkin Set and in the wall the Eyeball Feather Wreath sets the mood, I mostly went for items from the Kitsch store instead of Fallen Angel Decor because of the cute yet spooky aesthetic Kitsch have

Now we have a simple Halloween party but we cannot forget something for our suite... The special guest Salem !

What do you think of this suite? Let us know in the comments and write "Trick or Treat" and your username to win a random spooky gift 👻

Dark desires

Dark desires

Almost all the decor I've shown here are living rooms and such so of course soon or later I would bring a kitchen or a bedroom since Stardoll gives us a lot of bedroom and kitchen furniture today I bring you a modern bedroom with a dark color palette in honor of Halloween

Even though I prefer lighter colors in suites this is one of my favorite rooms I've made so far!

I went with all black walls using Stardesign squares and using grey squares to act as a trim to separate a little the bed section from the wardrobe and bookcase and make it a focal point

I used the King Size Bed by LE as a start and instead of a straight rug I used the Marble Rug by Pretty in Love, which since it's angled is kinda difficult to use but it looked so good! It's like when you are building in The Sims 4 and you hit that alt placement to tilt objects a little bit

I didn't want to use a ceiling lamp so I went with the Twin Lights from Popshop, palso from that brand the That's 70 Painting gives us that modern abstract feeling

I put the Bookshelf from Fashion Furniture to add something more interesting and the fact that is angled also works

On the other side of the room I filled the Designer Closet Grey from Basics Decor with books, shoes, plants and such because cluttering always makes a difference!

So what do you think? Let us know and see you next week 🦇

Whimsigoth

Whimsigoth
This week I bring you: whimsigoth and you may ask what's that? Well dear reader whimsigoth is, according to the internet, "characterised by the rich, dark colours and drama of the gothic aesthetics, but mixed in with the greenery and airy embellishments of rustic styles, all tied together with a celestial-themed bow"
Basically it's like witchy decor with lots of plants, one example of whimsigoth is the iconic Sabrina the teenage witch that popularized all things celestial, earthy, and subversive which coincidentally we got a few Sabrina items in the latest Kitsch collection

Even though the dark colors still are a part of whimsigoth this time I went lighter with the wallpaper and used the lightest green shade in Stardesign which still don't know if it was a great choice or no

To do something different I did this kinda a-frame room with the Oak Plank from old DIY which combined with the Oak Floor from DIY gives us the earthy vibe perfect for whimsigoth
The furniture was important here I didn't want to put a couch or anything like that but I did want to add the Moon Cabinet from Kitsch because it's so cute and was my main inspiration for this room, so I ended up using the Swinging Chair from Fashion Furniture
To add that rustic characteristic Pretty in Love came in handy: the Rustic Kitchen Island instead of a kitchen island it ended as a desk with the Tarot deck from kitsch
Plants are always a must in any suite, in the Bookshelf Wooden from Basics Decor I made a combination of the Terracotta Pot from JetSet plus the Ivy from Kitsch to make my own hanging plant. In the corner the Big Fiddle Fig Tree from Sweet Suites is perfect to add greenery without using a lot of plants and once again the Palm Tree from Budding Love makes an appearance but to make it more interesting I put the Small Clay Pot from Giardini

In a way it's also giving boho vibes instead of whimsigoth but I did like how it turned out! What do you think? Let us now in the comments below 🔮

Goth and Modern

Goth and Modern

I must admit Halloween suite decor is not my strong suit I never did any spooky suites before even though I do love Halloween, scary movies and video games...

So this week I decided to do something modern with a hint of spooky and this was the result:

My inspiration was the goth subculture but making it chic and modern (and a little minimalist since I didn't clutter it that much) black floors and black walls are hard to work with but they make such an elegant room!

To make the walls I used Black Double Door Closed from DIY that way we can add detail and texture we can't get with star design squares

As a base to our suite I used the latest Tingeling interior to add a spooky exterior for our windows but to also add colors to our palette

I didn't want to use all black furniture so we can play a little bit with colors and that's where the Green Velvet Sofa from Minimalism came in handy, not only gives us a simple couch to work with but also matches with our Tingeling interior!

The Display Shelf from Fantasy Hotels is one of my favorite items for modem suites, is simple and has great clutter pieces in it, great for decorate when you don't feel like adding too much

Adding stuff from Fallen Angel decor is a must when doing these suites, i used the Coffin Pillow here (which is super cute btw)

A suite perfect for darkness lovers or to get in the Halloween mood... What do you think? Let us know in the comments 🕸️

Vintage suite decor

Vintage suite decor

Since we started the month of October spooky suites are a must! But I didn't have enough spooky items or inspiration to do some more Halloween-y this week....

So I went with this vintage, retro, dark suite instead complete opposite of all the suites I've shown here on the blog

I used a mix of decor styles and pieces like Art Deco, Victorian, and Maximalist furniture; here are some Art Deco pieces I used:

For the base I used the Ebony Wood Floor from DIY and as a ceiling I used Board Long Black from DIY too and the fun part of this suite, in my opinion, is the wallpaper! When we use these patterned wallpapers we don't have to use much wall decor/paintings or it would be too busy, this wallpaper is the Strawberry Thief from DIY and the real life version is from 1883 talk about vintage!

The key of old style suites are the details of the objects, the heavily patterned wallpaper, the very detailed ceiling lamp, the gold and geometric room dividers...

The plants we use are also important, in this room I used the Palm Tree from Budding Love since it fit really well and it gives us that exotic and dramatic look we want in these vintage suites

So what do you think? Did you like this suite? What kinda Halloween suites would you like to see next? Let me know 🎃

Your dream home office but with a Sanrio twist!

Your dream home office but with a Sanrio twist!

This week took place the seventh Callie Con event in Stardoll, this year's theme was Hello Kitty!

Even though I expected a decor release inspired in the iconic feline we only got plushies on Monday's Otherworld release so I challenge myself to do something with them

When I started designing this suite I was going for gamer girl room but it wasn't giving... I needed more neon lights and gamer inspired furniture, so that vision quickly transformed into this:

It ended as home office space with the Sanrio characters in full display I played with the sizes of the items this time while decorating, instead of putting furniture in the default size and in the back of the suite I sized up the desk and put it in front, that way it gives us the illusion that the suite is bigger and add more emphasis to that area

The desk is our focal point in this suite and since it's very big we can fill it with clutter! I added the Badtz Maru plushie, speakers and plants and books to create the perfect set up, I don't know if you can see it but in the Art director chair from 9 to 5 I put the Hello Kitty and friends pillow from the Target freebie collection

I wanted to give a casual/relaxed vibe so I added the Shabby Chic Large Crate from Callie's pop up shop and add the other Sanrio plushies (Kuromi, Chococat, Cinnamoroll) and Mystic Star Lights from Otherworld and to be honest kinda looks like a YouTuber recording room with the plushies in the back lol

Finally details: books, cute cat , ceiling lights and plants, I did the same trick as before with the plant here: putting it in the corner so only the leaves can show I recommend putting plants in corners like this for more detail. I also added more clutter to the Set Of Shelves from Minimalism like a combination of the Oregano plant and Wall Shelf Plant to make my own hanging plant from the shelf!

And that's it we have a cute space to do our work from home or play Stardoll, see you next time 😺

Kitsch, Please!

Kitsch, Please!

When I saw the latest Fantasy Hotels release inspired by the iconic Trixie Motel I was all over the moon! I love bright colors, retro aesthetics and I'm a huge fan of Trixie Mattel. The collection featured two rooms inspired by the motel "Atomic Bombshell" and "Queen of Hearts"

Last week we saw how we can create a suite from scratch but when you're working in decorating a suite with an interior it's a little tricky... You have to work with the given floor, walls and weird angles some interiors have! This time we are gonna keep it simple with an interior without angles but very colorful!

I went with the "Queen of Hearts" one because it was easier for me to decorate and the color palette worked perfectly in the end! We are gonna decorate it with a kitsch vibe; that means wacky colors and eccentric decorations are important here.

In Stardoll the brand Kitsch lives up to its name by having colorful and sometimes tacky items.. I used the Pink Fire Place from the Easter collection

In a suite like this don't be afraid to add funky furniture, whether it be odd shapes or colors now it's your chance to be bold, I went with the Capsule Chair Powder Angle from Fashion Furniture because it has this art deco vibe and it matched the colors of the suite

Illumination is important here because we can add wacky lamps and chandeliers; the iconic retro lamp the Sputnik Lamp from Callie's Picks Decor is a must have in any mid century style room! Also floor lamps were common in this style so I used the Floor Lamp White from Basics Decor and honestly you can never have too many lamps so I also added Table Lamp White from Basics Decor

We cannot forget plants! Since the original motel is in Palm Springs we are gonna pay homage to that and add cactuses! Desert Cactus from Callie's picks and Paradiso Pool Cactus from Fantasy Hotels worked perfectly!

Lastly I decide to add a pop of yellow with the Striped Rug Buttercup and the Tropical Fruit Punch to add more color to our palette

And that's it! We have a colorful and retro suite, hope you liked it! See you next time 💋

The easiest suite you'll make!

The easiest suite you'll make!

Hello everyone I'm very excited to start writing in this blog! I'm gonna focus on decor and suite design topics and I wanted to start with a basic yet chic suite design tutorial

We are gonna start in an empty room and with a floor from the DIY store I chose the Herringbone Floor because it's fancy but it gives your suite a casual/boho look too!

Next we are gonna go and grab some Star Design squares in the color you prefer I did light grey here to do something sober as a tip you can make the suite wall color match with the star design squares that way you don't have to use that many

We are gonna use White Bench Cushion from Basics Decor which yeah they're cushions but they are cheap and we are gonna layer them behind our wood floor and our squares to make the illusion of both a wallpaper trim and a ceiling to our suite, many players use the 1 SD White Stair Step from DIY or even more star design squares but in white to do this but when you don't have much SD this is a great option too

Now that we have our floor and walls we can focus on windows, I put the White Window Frame from DIY and put the city background, now we start with furniture I went with the Modern Clean Light Gray Sofa and Minimalist Basic Coffee Grey table from basics decor putting two tables together to give a more trendy look, underneath we add a simple rug this one is the Luxury Carpet from Millionaire Mansion and we add details!

The more detailed your suite the better it will look: curtains, pillows, lights, paintings and of course plants make such a difference don't be afraid to put them in odd places, like putting paintings in the floor or cute animals in couches, for cluttering your suite SC items are excellent my absolute fave it's this Sheepskin Throw from Giardini, put it in couches, tables or chairs to make any suite feel cozier, to make things more interesting I used Five In A Row Plant from 9 to 5 and added more plants behind it to give the illusion of different plants and also adding Wall Shelf Plant from Minimalism to create my own hanging plant

And that's it! Now you have a basic and cute suite for your doll see you next time!
