Among the game glitches, today we got a new Limited Edition release. I had to refresh the page several times just to make the shopping window appear in Starplaza, even though the store was already out, but the collection did go live on time according to the countdown on Stardoll’s Instagram. It brought three new floors to the store.

Some items sold out immediately, while others are still available with plenty of copies left, pretty much the new normal for limited releases. I guess this happens because, in the past, items had very few copies and some people used to buy entire collections. Nowadays, players tend to pick only specific pieces they think might gain value later, usually for reselling purposes (spoiler: most recent releases don’t really become valuable rares, with just a few exceptions).

Overall, I liked the release. The pieces are very well illustrated and have real styling potential. I couldn’t stop noticing the D&G Books Bag, especially since we already had a version of this bag years ago in a Dolce & Gabbana Tribute release. This new one looks great, although I think I still prefer the more vivid colors of the older version, but of course, I got this one too.

This Friday’s release was a new Antidote collection. As teased by the free item we got yesterday, I was sure it would be something extravagant, but I wasn’t expecting it to be Christmas themed, so it was a nice surprise when the store floors were released a little earlier today, a true Christmas miracle, especially since we’ve gotten used to limited releases arriving later than announced on Instagram stories.

I love that the collection brings a mix of bold statement pieces along with more casual, yet still fashionable items across the three floors. As always, opinions are divided, with players both loving and hating different pieces.

The store interior looks beautiful, and overall I really liked many of the items, I had a blast doing some Christmas shopping there. Some pieces sold out very quickly, while others still have plenty of copies left in the store.

Hello dolls! Sorry for once again posting the release a bit late, Idk if any of you noticed, but this year I decided to give MSW a try and things have been a little crazy since it started, leaving me with not much time for other stuff.

Anyway, for the blog record, last Friday we had what’s probably the last Limited Edition release of the year.

As teased by the logo the day before, the collection features some animal prints and cowboy inspired pieces. I must say, I really liked this one and ended up getting quite a few items (thank you Stardoll for the 2k Stardollars from the MSW semifinal prize, they came in handy!).

For Monday, the 3rd and final part of the MSW collection finally came out!

Featuring two new floors, this drop brings more clothing pieces and while black and gold remain the main focus, we can also see a color variety with pink, teal and periwinkle options for those who don’t want to stick strictly to the competition colors.

Personally, I liked this part of the release more than the first one, the Black Fur is by far my favorite, and I’ve already added it to my fur coat collection!

There are two Starcoin items: the Black Leggings and the Fringe Jumpsuit. Also, the Superstar gift of the week was updated with the Golden Sandals from this release, so it’s nice to see that we’re back to receiving recent pieces as gifts for Superstar and Royalty members.

For this Friday, the release was specially prepared by Ben (aka Lanekii), who picked and illustrated all the pieces of the new The JetSet collection. 

The update added two new floors to the shop and brought in fancy, elegant and fashionable pieces with a modern touch. I must say, what I liked the most were the sparkly items and the fur coat. I’ve been a little obsessed with fur pieces for a while now, so the jacket in various color variations really came in handy. 

Another positive point is the starcoin items, they look great and can definitely be put to good use. These include the Sheer Top, Crystal Black Belt, and Crystal Drop Earrings (though this last one is almost invisible in the store because the color blends into the background, but you can easily catch it in the catalogue). 

I just wish we had more jewelry, as I keep saying with every store release. The collection, like all other JetSet drops, is available only for superstar dolls. What are your thoughts on today’s release?

Today’s release brought us a new pretty Antidote collection with a collegial preppy style, set against a school themed interior decorated with cardboard, maps and post-its on the walls. 

The collection have three new floors and includes not only school uniform inspired pieces, like tartan skirts, Mary Janes, varsity sweaters, scout-style uniforms, a book stack handbag and a utility blazer, perfect for that math loving teacher or student, but also more street wear items.

Overall, the concept feels strong and the item selectionwas well made. The pricing also seems good, as I was able to grab quite a few pieces and still spent less than I expected. Some items sold out almost immediately, while others still have plenty of stock available. Honestly, the moment I saw the collection, I could already tell which pieces would flop.

Last Friday, we had the yearly release of the LE Decor collection.

The release arrived right on time (according to the countdown shared on Instagram) and brought a Villa store vibe, but with the usual LE high prices tag. The three floors featured a mix of artistic decor and luxury rustic furniture, mainly for living room settings. The painting was the first to sell out, as expected, but we also got some standout pieces like the random bathtub that felt a bit out of place but fun nonetheless.

There are still a few items available on the last floor and one chair on the second floor that haven’t sold out yet, so, if you missed out, you might still be able to grab something.

Last week on Friday, we had a Limited Edition store release, which arrived quite late due to some technical issues Stardoll was experiencing with their servers.

The store followed a winter wonderland aesthetic, which I absolutely loved. Surprisingly, the item choices for this release were beautiful, different from the free item included in the special offer.

The collection features a mix of designs inspired by brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Miss Sohee, Alexander McQueen, Vetements, Vivienne Westwood and a few more. It makes me wonder if Stardoll might be planning to choose some of these for the upcoming tribute season.

As a "sorry for the delay" gift, this time they made a bag available for 5sd, just like what happened in the last Young Hollywood release.
