Yesterday, aka Friday, the official first release of 2026 on Stardoll was a new Evil Panda collection. It’s a relatively small collection, but given that it’s the beginning of the year, and that the team probably had some time off for the holidays (hopefully), that’s understandable.

I’m not a big fan of the collection as a whole, even though I really like Evil Panda as a brand, but some pieces look so adorable! I still need some time to take a proper look at everything.

This week’s Superstar gift has been updated with the Gcds Heart Bag from the Evil Panda collection released at the beginning of the month. Idk why, since usually these are the free SS gift items that were released during the week or in the past week. But I’m not complaining, because I loved this bag and hadn’t bought it yet!

This Monday, Stardoll kicked off both the week and the month with a new Evil Panda release. The interesting twist this time is that the collection seems to be inspired by one of the suggested Callie Con themes: K-pop. From what I noticed, most of the pieces are based on outfits worn by K-pop idols at some point.

Some items come in both male and female versions, which at first glance makes the collection look larger than it really is. In reality, it’s quite small, something I personally prefer, since I’d rather have a compact collection with good pieces than a big one full of fillers.

There are only two Starcoin items: the Fur Chanel Hat, inspired by Jennie from BLACKPINK and the Embroidered Puff Dress, based on Celine SS19. 

Below, you can check out some of the real-life looks that inspired the collection. Since I’m not really into K-pop, I might have missed a few references, but I recognized the ones I’d seen before.

This Friday brought us a new Evil Panda release. As soon as I saw it, I could tell it was designed by Laneki, which was later confirmed that all the items were illustrated by him. It wasn’t because the illustration style that gave it away, but how cohesive the entire collection feels. I’ve been loving the direction he’s been taking with this store since the previous collection.

The pieces are super cute and have a Y2K aesthetic, which has been trending for quite some time, and I’m absolutely here for it!

But the highlight of this release is definitely the abundance of accessories! The downside, however, is the type of store layout with hangers, it ended up filling four floors with accessories, while there’s only one floor of clothes. At this point, though, I don’t think they’ll be updating the display style of any store anytime soon, if ever.

Yesterday was the time for a new Evil Panda collection to hit Starplaza, with 23 new items, and some of them (boots and pants) having both female and male doll versions.

The first thing that caught my attention was the pirate cat backpack because of its unusual position for use and because it looks cute. I really liked how the person who designed it decided to bring something to hold in a different position. I hope we can have more surprises like this in the future. Tripp pants also look cool. Other than that, there are some okay-ish pieces. They're not a must-buy, but I might consider getting some of them in a future 50% off sale.

The positive point of this release is that they remembered that in Stardoll we have users who play with male dolls and included male items, even though it's only two pants and one pair of boots. Some of the hoodies can also be worn by them, I think.
