The JetSet

The JetSet

After a loooong downtime, Stardoll is finally back up and I was able to check out yesterday’s release, a new two-floor The JetSet collection. The store continues the aesthetic we’ve been seeing in recent releases, with fancy and elegant pieces.

Out of the 10 new mannequins, two feature male items, which is great for male dolls, especially since they’re getting two complete looks not long after a full Mr. release dedicated exclusively to them.

The downside is that there are only two Starcoin items: the Feather Crystal Earrings and the Grey Wool Beret. As shown by the star icon on the brand, the store remains exclusive to Superstar (and Royalty ofc) dolls, meaning you need an active subscription to purchase anything from it.

Did you like the store? Are there any pieces you’ll be adding to your closet?

The JetSet

The JetSet

For this Friday, the release was specially prepared by Ben (aka Lanekii), who picked and illustrated all the pieces of the new The JetSet collection.

The update added two new floors to the shop and brought in fancy, elegant and fashionable pieces with a modern touch. I must say, what I liked the most were the sparkly items and the fur coat. I’ve been a little obsessed with fur pieces for a while now, so the jacket in various color variations really came in handy.

Another positive point is the starcoin items, they look great and can definitely be put to good use. These include the Sheer Top, Crystal Black Belt, and Crystal Drop Earrings (though this last one is almost invisible in the store because the color blends into the background, but you can easily catch it in the catalogue).

I just wish we had more jewelry, as I keep saying with every store release. The collection, like all other JetSet drops, is available only for superstar dolls. What are your thoughts on today’s release?

The JetSet

The JetSet
Today, the exclusive store for Superstars is back with a new release!

JetSet has added two new floors to the store, featuring pieces that can only be purchased with an active Superstar subscription. The new items showcase a more sophisticated aesthetic.
There are three pieces available for Starcoins: the white chain heels, the white sequin top (also available for male dolls), and the silver earrings. The earrings can be found in the catalog or by using the blue tag in the side menu, as they don't appear to be placed on any mannequins.

The JetSet

The JetSet

This Friday's release is a new The JetSet collection, featuring some truly stunning and luxurious pieces.

The two new floors include items inspired by Versace, JPG, Fendi, Andersson Bell, Gucci, Stefan Cooke and Nina Ricci. This might be a hint at what we can expect for the upcoming tribute season, which starts next Monday (20th) - or perhaps not.

The entire collection was designed by Ben Rey, aka Laneki on Stardoll. I think he has been the best addition to the illustration team so far. Not only is he incredibly talented at illustrating, but the collections he brings are also very cohesive.

Below are the real-life versions of some of the items from the collection.

The JetSet

The JetSet

This week started with the release of a new The JetSet collection. As usual, the collection is available only for those who have an active Superstar subscription.

The full collection looks a little messy, but some pieces are really great for styling in other settings that aren't the floor of this store. Personally, the flower dress is one of my favorite pieces here. The crystal Crocs also look cute, but not together with the dress.

The JetSet

The JetSet

Apparently, it's a new thing to release the Friday collection early, as today's store arrived with the singing of the birds (at least for me).

It's a new JetSet collection, as everyone might have already noticed, and it brings some outfits inspired by Nina Ricci, Christian Siriano, Avellano, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and of course, some looks worn by Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kristen Stewart. The only one I couldn't find the inspiration for was the black bodysuit on the second floor.

Sadly, the belt from Gigi's trousers is attached to the pants, I wish they were separate pieces. The green plastic dress looks way more interesting in real life than in this Stardoll version. Overall, it's a good collection, even though some looks don't seem cohesive enough to call it a collection.

As asked in the comments, here are the real life versions of the looks:

Weekly Superstar Gift

Weekly Superstar Gift
Can you imagine if the weekly gift is updated on the weekend, and you receive an item that was released in the past week? Because that's what happened this time.
The Superstar free gift, supposed to be changed at the start of each new week, was updated only today with an item that was part of the JetSet collection from last Friday. I just love how punctual this game is.

The JetSet

The JetSet
Besides the Gift-o-Meter today we also got a new The JetSet release, it looks a small collection if you look in the cathalogue but the're two new floors add to the store.

The quality of the items looks so good, but sadly not many of them are the type of clothes I usually buy, as long dresses are very hard to style. I ended up buying only the belt on the second mannequin on the second floor.

What are your opinions on this release?

The JetSet

The JetSet

Last friday, a new The JetSet collection was add in Starplaza, featuring 9 new outfits spread across 2 floors. All the looks are designed for females, which unfortunately is not surprising, as Stardoll often overlooks options for male dolls.

On the 1st floor, you can spot some dresses that were worn by Kylie Jenner on the 4th mannequin and Selena Gomez on the 5th, she wore the dress at her 31st birthday party, and it looks like a shorter version of the red dress she wore at the VMA's and which was released in the last Young Hollywood. On the 3rd mannequin, my favorite on this floor, you'll find the Shushu Tong dress that Shay Mitchell wore to the Barbie movie pink carpet premiere, proving that Stardoll isn't done competing with Barbie just yet.

Talking about Barbie, they've included dresses that Margot Robbie wore wore while doing the press tour (1st in secon floor - a Vivienne Westwood look inspired by Barbie "Enchanted Evening" - and 2nd in first floor - a Versace mini dress from the '94 ready-to-wear collection). Interestingly, these dress weren't initially released in Other World for Callie Con but I'm happy they released it one way or another. I just wish they had separated the white fur (?) from the dress.

I'm really enjoying this not-so-new concept that they've chosen for The JetSet, bringing clothes that were worn by celebrities into a non-limited store. Even though it's only available for superstars, it's more affordable and easier to buy than Young Hollywood, for example.
