Holiday Calendar - Day 2

Holiday Calendar - Day 2

For Day 2, we received a new clothing set, including a dress and a scarf. When you open the letter in the Calendar, you’ll see the item listed only as Chanel Sweater Dress, costing 14sd (with the Royalty discount). But in the picture, the Chanel Scarf also appears.

If you buy the set directly from the Calendar, you’ll get both items, as the scarf comes for free with the dress. However, in the catalogue the items are listed separately: the dress costs the same 14sd, while the scarf costs 11sd both with the Royalty discount.

The dress is actually inspired by a sweater and skirt set from the Chanel 2024/25 Métiers d’Art collection. The runway look also includes a bag and a pair of boots, I’m curious if we’ll eventually get them to complete the outfit. I must say I’m not a big fan of the boots, but the bag is really cute.

Did you like the Day 2 pieces?
Also, this set will be available for purchase until December 3rd, so now I’m wondering if they added the wrong date for the Day 1 item. What do you think?

Holiday Calendar - Day 1

Holiday Calendar - Day 1

This year, we started the Calendar with a jewelry piece: the Snowflake Collar. It’s available both in the Calendar and through the catalogue, and it costs 14sd with the Royalty discount.

A difference this year is that, as we can see when opening the calendar, the items are not available for just one day. For example, the necklace will be available for purchase until December 3rd, which is great news for anyone who misses a day, you’ll have more time to grab the item. By purchasing it, you’ll also get a free copy for the beauty parlor.

The collar is inspired by a Swarovski necklace made of 12,000 crystal pieces. It was worn by Brazilian actress Isis Valverde at the opening event of the exhibition “Masters of Light”, a showcase celebrating Swarovski’s craftsmanship, heritage and iconic crystal designs throughout history.

I’ve also seen that Madonna once wore the necklace, but I couldn’t find pictures of it.

Did you like the first item of this year’s Calendar?
Btw, at the end of the week I’ll make a post featuring some outfits or decor made with the Calendar items, so if you’d like to be featured, just comment your creations each day in the comments section!

Holiday Calendar 2025

Holiday Calendar 2025

It’s that time of year again, everything and everyone is ready for Christmas. Stardoll couldn’t be any different, and we’ve just received the traditional Holiday Calendar!

It works like a regular Advent calendar: 25 gifts from December 1st until Christmas Day on December 25th.

If they follow last year’s pattern, we’ll be getting one fashion item and one decor item on alternating days, with a jewelry item occasionally, but we’ll have to wait and see to be sure. I’m hoping for some stylish pieces and some Christmas themed items to use throughout the season.

Also, I really liked the items they teased in this year’s calendar decor. I hope we get the tree soon so I can start decorating my suite for the holidays!

What are your expectations for this year’s Holiday Calendar?

Pretty n Love

Pretty n Love

The week, and the month, started with a new Pretty ‘n Love release. It brings a fresh batch of pink girly items to Starplaza.

The collection is quite small, which is understandable since in December we usually get daily releases through the Advent Calendar.

There are 29 items in total, including some male versions of female pieces and a pair of earrings available in both suite and BP versions. I’m not a big fan of the release overall, but there are definitely some cute pieces.

There are only two Starcoin items (which I won’t complain about this time, since the calendar usually gives us some SC pieces and I’d rather save my coins for those): the Ruffle Pocket Shorts and the Glitter Flats.

Anything from this new PnL drop catch your eye?

Black Friday - 50% sale

Black Friday - 50% sale

As usual, for Black Friday, Stardoll prepared the 50% off sale in Starplaza. The promotion is available for everyone and is not cumulative with the 10% Royalty discount. There’s no info about when it will end, but if it follows last years pattern, the sale will run until Sunday.

The most recent releases, starting from Tingeling till the last Celeb Fit, are excluded from the promotion. Limited stores that still have remaining pieces are included, so if you want something, hurry up!

Is there any particular piece you think is a must get? For me, it’s definitely the Runaway items, since I refuse to pay the full expensive price for non-limited pieces haha.

Black Week Pass

Black Week Pass

Seems like the pass has become a new trend, it returned at the end of last month for a Halloween special, and now we’ve got another one just in time for Black Friday, with only one month between them. This time, instead of a single outfit like the Halloween pass, they included two looks: one for female dolls and one for male dolls and you receive both, regardless of your doll’s gender.

In total, there are 11 items, since the sunglasses and necklace come in both suite and beauty parlor versions. They mentioned in the ad that the usual 90sd pack is excluded from this promotion, but they didn’t mention that there’s also a top-up offer available: by buying any Stardollar pack, you get 50% more stardollars. Also remember that the free items are included in Superstar/Instant Royalty packs as well and you can get them untill November 30th.

Let’s hope tomorrow brings more Black Friday news, with the usual 50% off promotion!

Celeb Fit

Celeb Fit

This month passed so quickly that we already have the new Celeb Fit release. For the first time, we have looks worn by Michelle Obama and Suki Waterhouse, along with a comeback appearance by Anya Taylor-Joy.

The outfits were worn on the following occasions: Michelle Obama wearing Loewe dress with Balenciaga boots during her book tour in NYC, Anya Taylor-Joy wearing Dilara Findikoglu at the Tiffany & Co. holiday celebration, also in NYC and Suki Waterhouse wearing Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen at the Die My Love premiere, again in NYC.

Michelle’s look is made of only two pieces, dress and boots. From what I’ve seen, the real version had pantashoes, but they turned them into regular boots (must say, I prefer it this way). For Anya’s outfit, there’s a brooch on her dress that is barely visible in the store window, but if you hover the cursor near the neckline, you’ll find it, or you can buy it directly from the catalogue.

There are two starcoins pieces: the Anya Bracelet and the Suki Sheer Heels

You can see them wearing the outfits below:

Vinyl

Vinyl

For Monday, the Stardoll team prepared a new Vinyl drop and this time it brings lots of vintage pieces from iconic 90s collections

The two new floors include items inspired by Miu Miu, Lacroix, Dior, Gucci, Complice, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Alaïa, and Westwood accessories.

As mentioned previously, most of the items come from 90s fashion show collections, ranging from 1991 to 1997, but not only, we can also spot some newer pieces from collections released in 2017, like the Marc Jacobs coat and the Westwood bag from the 2023/2024 commercial collection.

I really liked this release, especially the Vivienne Westwood socks and bag, the brand is one of my favorites and I hope to see more items soon in future releases, or even in a Tribute, as we’re getting close to Tribute season.

This time, we only have two starcoin pieces: the Black Lace Tights and the Dior Champagne Trousers.

Below you can see some of the pieces in real life:

Royalty

Royalty

This Friday didn’t disappoint with a new Royalty release. The collection was curated and illustrated by Ben/Laneki and brings a variety of fancy pieces.

Across the two new floors, we can see items inspired by: 16Arlington, Armani Privé, Bottega Veneta, Michael Lo Sordo, Maison Margiela, Schiaparelli, Thimister, Gucci, Germanier, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Robert Wun, Aquilano.Rimondi, Alexandre Vauthier, and Royalty’s very own Vivienne Westwood.

There are two starcoin pieces: the Pointed Red Hat (available for suite and beauty parlor) and the Green Turtleneck (available in both male and female versions).

For you, is this Royalty release a yay or nay? Also, aways good to remember that the items are only available for Royalty dolls to buy.

Weekly Superstar Gift

Weekly Superstar Gift

A little bit late, but today the weekly free item for Superstars has been updated. This time they picked the Green Hunter Boots from last week’s Nelly.com collection. It wasn’t one of the items I liked from the release, but like I always say: it’s free, so I’ll get it!

If you have your Superstar or Royalty activated, you can claim it on the Superstar page. Did you like this week’s gift choice?

Tress Up

Tress Up

This Monday’s release brought a new surprise for us. What looked like a normal Tress Up release came with an improvement that some players have been asking for a while: hairs that can be layered with the Stardesign masks.

No, the game hasn’t been updated (sadly), but at least they’re trying to listen to users and find a way to deliver what players want. After the more detailed skins added in the Underneath Stardoll, now they brought the Tress Up hairstyles in the usual way plus a BP version that can be used in the jewelry category, allowing those who want to wear them to keep their facial masks and features made in Stardesign Hair Studio.

The not so good part is that we can’t use hair dyes or choose the color we want, since it functions as a jewelry piece, so it’s limited to the color chosen by the illustrator. At least some of the styles come with 2/3 extra color options. Another thing is that there’s a small “gap” between the doll and the hair, even after resizing, but this can be fixed by adding a Stardesign hair piece behind the doll to fill the space.

What do you think of this? I personally really like that they kept doing Tress Up, especially now that the design wigs keep increasing in price and are getting very expensive, and also many dolls prefer using the game provided hairs. With this new option, more dolls will be able to use Tress Up. Can’t lie, I’m already eyeing some of these hairstyles to buy. Will you be using them too?

Pretty n' Love Decor

Pretty n' Love Decor

This Monday on Stardoll started pink and full of glitter with the comeback of Pretty n' Love Decor (which honestly looked more like an old days Kitsch collection).

The release brought a 90's aesthetic, with furniture and decor pieces that made it feel like vaporwave took over the place (and I’m 100% here for it). The store has two floors and looks like a collage with a mix of toilet items, a bed, sofas, electronics and art pieces, which again evokes the vaporwave vibe.

There are four starcoin items this time. The're: Pink Stereo, Wavy Pink Mirror, Pink Overhead Lamp and Bedazzled 90s Cellphone.

I’ve seen many complaints about this store, from “wrong store to bring this collection”, which I mentioned and agree with, to people asking Stardoll to “stop bringing diagonal pieces”, which I honestly don’t understand since they’re actually good for giving a different decor perspective. And of course, we can’t forget the usual “inspirations taken from AI” but let’s be real: there’s not a single release where people won’t complain, right!? What are your thoughts on it?
