After a little change in their schedule, today we finally got the May Celeb Fit release, featuring looks worn by Jenna Ortega, Beyoncé and Sabrina Carpenter.
I’d say this slight shift in the order of releases may have been due to the responsible illustrator not having the pieces finished in time, as they seem a bit rushed and not very well polished. The outfits are also incomplete since they didn’t include the jewelry the celebs used to complete their looks.
Jenna wore her outfit — the Dior by Galliano Fall 2000 newspaper print dress — at the Hurry Up Tomorrow NY premiere on May 13, 2025. This dress was previously released in game at the Stardoll and the City store, as it’s considered one of the most iconic pieces worn by the character Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City film franchise.
Beyoncé wore the Mugler SS25 RTW set at The Wiltern in LA while attending her mum's book promo on May 2nd. Sabrina was photographed in a Dior by John Galliano dress (can we call this a small Dior tribute at this point?) from the Fall 1997 collection. The pictures were posted on her Instagram on May 11th.
Below are the real celebs wearing the featured outfits:

I just logged into Stardoll expecting to see which looks they picked for this month’s Celeb Fit, but instead I saw that today’s store is Active. What happened to their Wednesday release schedule? Idk!
For Active, we got 2 new floors, containing mainly gym wear pieces and some inspired by sports like racing, boxing and baseball. As I keep saying with each Active release, this store isn’t really my vibe, and I don’t have any sports themed room where I can use most of these clothes but I really liked some individual pieces, as they seem versatile enough to be styled in other ways.
Below, you can see some of the real life versions of the items featured in the store.

Hello dolls!
Today’s release was a new 9 to 5 collection, and the theme is kind of an artsy studio, where you can spot different furniture and objects used for illustration, painting, glass blowing, sculpture, clay work and photography.
I really liked this release, as I’m always wanting and looking for artistic pieces to add to my rooms — this feels like heaven to me! I also noticed that lots of players have been making requests and giving compliments about the paintings that were released in some recent collections.
Below, you can see the real life versions of some items I was able to identify, like the unfinished Frida Kahlo painting, the unfinished Michelangelo sculpture and also the Acne Studios paint splatter jeans.
For the Superstar gift of the week, they chose the unfinished Michelangelo sculpture, so if you like it, make sure to head to the Superstar page to claim it!

For the Friday release, we had a new Splendid collection that, to my surprise, included some piercings. Recently, the store that usually offered this type of jewelry was Ink’d.
In this release, we can see several piercings, as I mentioned above, not only for the face models but also belly rings. There are also hair pieces and earrings. This time, they had the idea of releasing the earrings in multiple versions: each model is available in pairs or as singles — left and right sides separately. If you opt to get them separately, you'll have to pay for both sides individually. Brooches, necklaces and waist chains were also part of this release.

After 1 year since the last release, the Underneath Stardoll store made its comeback with 2 new floors of lingerie for our dolls.
On the 1st floor, we can mainly see 3-piece sets of bra, underwear and garter belt, but it also includes bodysuits and a skirt + corset piece set. As for the 2nd floor, there’s a variety of dresses, and they even included a robe + pants matching set.
I'm not very excited about this release as I barely use items from this store, but some pieces are cute.
Last Friday, May 16th, we had a Young Hollywood release, but the store came with some "surprises". One of them was the Sabrina Carpenter platforms that were shown in the store, but everyone was unable to grab them to buy and they were also missing from the catalog.
After receiving a lot of messages questioning about the shoes, Vulacano, who illustrated all pieces from Sabrina's outfit, said that he was aware of the issue and would ask the Stardoll staff to fix it.
The thing is, they managed to make the shoes available, but different from what we were expecting. Instead of adding them to the Plaza, Stardoll sent them as a free gift to everyone. To get it, you only had to log in to your account. Sadly, I have no idea until when, or if, they’re still gifting it. Hope you guys had the chance to get it!

This Monday, we started the week with a new Basics Decor release!
Filled with cute pastel colored items, the collection presents a preset of a clothing store in four color variants: sage, gray, cream and blush. The items look great and many of them can be repurposed for a variety of decors, beyond just a clothing shop setup.
I must say the items I liked the most are the mannequins, as they’re much more detailed than the ones we’ve seen in other Plaza stores. Also I like the fact that frames now come separate from the paintings. While it may be a strategy to make us spend more, it’s actually very useful, as we can now mix and match them with other items more freely.
Honestly, lately Basics Decor has been delivering more than other decor stores in terms of good, affordable pieces.

After a 1-hour delay due to technical issues, the store finally went live, but not without some glitches: missing items on mannequins, pieces only available via the catalogue, others not showing up there at all and even a case where an item appeared in store but couldn’t be purchased anywhere. Unfortunately, most of the looks did not include the jewelry or bags the celebrities wore to the event.
Still, the outfit selections were well chosen, and Vulacano has hinted that more Met Gala looks might appear in regular stores soon.
As a small apology for the delay, Stardoll made the golden Gigi Hadid dress available in 3,000 copies for just 5sd — a true bargain!
