Last Friday’s release broke everyone’s expectations for the 3rd part of the MSW collection, as instead we got a new Underneath Stardoll release that introduced updates for the doll’s body.
At first, it seemed like a great addition, after all, more detailed or “realistic” body options have been a constant request from players. However, the excitement quickly turned into disappointment when players discovered that the new bodies are actually "bodysuits" in different skin tones, rather than true shading or contouring options like the ones available in the Transform store.
Another issue is that most of the skin colors don’t seem to match well with existing doll tones. In response, Vulacano promised to add more variety in a future release, though there’s no set date for it yet. Personally, I didn’t like that the “body” is technically a clothing item as it’s almost impossible to move the doll without removing it.
Players also questioned why this wasn’t implemented as an actual body update in the Beauty Parlor and Vulacano explained that it isn’t technically possible, otherwise, they would have done it years ago.
