This Friday didn’t disappoint with a new Royalty release. The collection was curated and illustrated by Ben/Lanekii and brings a variety of fancy pieces. 

Across the two new floors, we can see items inspired by: 16Arlington, Armani Privé, Bottega Veneta, Michael Lo Sordo, Maison Margiela, Schiaparelli, Thimister, Gucci, Germanier, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Robert Wun, Aquilano.Rimondi, Alexandre Vauthier, and Royalty’s very own Vivienne Westwood.

There are two starcoin pieces: the Pointed Red Hat (available for suite and beauty parlor) and the Green Turtleneck (available in both male and female versions).

A little bit late, but today the weekly free item for Superstars has been updated. This time they picked the Green Hunter Boots from last week’s Nelly.com collection. It wasn’t one of the items I liked from the release, but like I always say: it’s free, so I’ll get it!

This Monday’s release brought a new surprise for us. What looked like a normal Tress Up release came with an “improvement” that some players have been asking for a while: hairs that can be layered with the Stardesign masks. 

No, the game hasn’t been updated (sadly), but at least they’re trying to listen to users and find a way to deliver what players want. After the more detailed skins added in the Underneath Stardoll, now they brought the Tress Up hairstyles in the usual way plus a BP version that can be used in the jewelry category, allowing those who want to wear them to keep their facial masks and features made in Stardesign Hair Studio.

The not so good part is that we can’t use hair dyes or choose the color we want, since it functions as a jewelry piece, so it’s limited to the color chosen by the illustrator. At least some of the styles come with 2/3 extra color options. Another thing is that there’s a small “gap” between the doll and the hair, even after resizing, but this can be fixed by adding a Stardesign hair piece behind the doll to fill the space.

What do you think of this? I personally really like that they kept doing Tress Up, especially now that the design wigs keep increasing in price and are getting very expensive, and also many dolls prefer using the game provided hairs. With this new option, more dolls will be able to use Tress Up. Can’t lie, I’m already eyeing some of these hairstyles to buy. Will you be using them too?

This Monday on Stardoll started pink and full of glitter with the comeback of Pretty n' Love Decor (which honestly looked more like an old days Kitsch collection). 

The release brought a 90's aesthetic, with furniture and decor pieces that made it feel like vaporwave took over the place (and I’m 100% here for it). The store has two floors and looks like a collage with a mix of toilet items, a bed, sofas, electronics and art pieces, which again evokes the vaporwave vibe.

There are four starcoin items this time. The're: Pink Stereo, Wavy Pink Mirror, Pink Overhead Lamp and Bedazzled 90s Cellphone.

I’ve seen many complaints about this store, from “wrong store to bring this collection”, which I mentioned and agree with, to people asking Stardoll to “stop bringing diagonal pieces”, which I honestly don’t understand since they’re actually good for giving a different decor perspective. And of course, we can’t forget the usual “inspirations taken from AI” but let’s be real: there’s not a single release where people won’t complain, right!? What are your thoughts on it?

Must say that Stardoll took me off guard with this announcement, as I was expecting it to be released in December, but this Thursday we got the news that on Friday the release will be a Subcouture collection.

The usual 50% top-up offer for Stardollars packs is available along with the special offer items. It seems like now having more than one free item is becoming a thing, as for this release we’ll be getting a dress inspired by Kiko Kostadinov Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear and a pair of shoes inspired by Louboutin. The free items aren’t included in the cheaper SD pack, but you can also get them with the SS package.

This November special Epiphany release inspired by birthstones features the Citrine gem. We have the familiar necklace, ring, bracelet, and two earring models, this time in a bright yellow tone, along with a new pendant design and the Citrine Luxembourg Tiara to complete the collection. All items, except the tiara (which only comes in its original version), are available in the usual gold and silver variants.

   STARDOLL DRESSER CHAT

Today's release is Basics decor, bringing a new kitchen setup after many complaints about Stardoll removing the previous floors that contained kitchen decor items.

The color palette for this release includes warm browns, black, cream and maroon for the furniture; chrome, brass and black for the kitchen appliances; and marble pieces in shades of green, white, black, and maroon.

I really liked this release, especially the clutter kitchen items they added to the store. Sadly, I’ve seen some comments about certain pieces being bugged, that annoying issue where items teleport to the center of the room no matter where you place them and some can’t even be resized to smaller.

This Wednesday, we got the release of two new OotM outfits, this time selected by ceceginny and jorja.

For ceceginny, we have an (almost) all black outfit containing five items in total, with two of them having male versions. The beauty parlor option for the hat isn’t available this time. The full look costs 126sc and 53sd, while the male pieces together cost 32sd, note that the pricing is listed with the 10% royalty discount applied.

As for jorja, we’re once again back to the big coat trend. The outfit is made up of six pieces, with all clothing items available for both male and female dolls and the glasses also available in a BP version. The full look costs 108sc and 81sd, also with discount.

The only Starcoin pieces are the Tortoise Joe Sunglasses and the Leather Thong. 

One thing that caught my attention is that the suite version of the sunglasses costs 108sc, while the BP version is 117sc, as you can see below:

The free weekly gift for Superstar and Royalty dolls has been updated. This time, we got the Silver Branch Skirt from last Friday’s Tingeling release. To get it, just go to the Superstar page and claim it in the “Weekly Superstar Gift” section at the bottom of the page.

Hello dolls! Sorry for taking so long, I’ve had some busy days, but the voting poll to choose Miss Stardoll-oween 2025 is finally here! A bit late, I know, but thank you for your patience!

As mentioned in the entry post, if we received fewer than six entries, the number of winners would be reduced to only 1st place. Since we had four participants this year, the podium has been limited to a single winner. I truly wish we had more entries to allow a full prize distribution, and I hope to see more engagement in the next competitions, like in the golden years of the blog.

This Monday’s release was a new It Girls collection that’s giving a bit of a Bonjour Bizou aesthetic. 

I’m not sure why, but this time the new pieces don’t have the usual “new” tag, so I added a small purple dot to help identify which items are part of the latest drop. 

There are five starcoins items: the Olive Sweater (available in both male and female versions), the Leather Pillbox Hat (available for suite and beauty parlor) and the Yellow Black White Skirt.

The third and final competition of the MSW season is the Diary Contest, which serves as a reflective closing activity. 

This year, players are encouraged to answer some of the following questions:

Your text must have a maximum of 1000 characters. The best entries will be rewarded with Stardollars, the exact amount hasn’t been mentioned as well, and all participants will receive a free gift. This time, the free item is a lipstick to match the eyeshadows we got from the first contest.

Also on Friday, Stardoll started sending out a freebie to celebrate Halloween. Everyone who logged in received the Candy Cauldron, so our dolls can go trick-or-treating! The offer is still active, as I’ve seen people getting it through the Friends Feed haha. So if you haven’t logged in since then, you can still try to log in and claim the free item.

Even though the item has the section for the doll to hold it in hand, it actually goes straight to the decor section.

Last Friday, we had the final October release, which also wrapped up the Halloween themed drops with a Tingeling collection. 

The two floors brought high couture pieces with a darker aesthetic to match the season. I honestly thought they’d keep using the Tingeling Couture tag for this release, so it was a surprise to see it under the regular brand tag. Most of the pieces have incredibly high quality and detail, I almost thought some were real pictures edited onto mannequins when a friend first sent me the store photos. It’s a real treat for those who love realism.

Sadly, in such a large collection, we only got two Starcoin items: the Leather Face Mask and the Ruby Crystal Collier.

MSW might have ended already, but we still have some themed competitions in the game, like the Decor Photo Contest.
