Holiday Calendar 2025 - Fashion Review

This year’s Holiday Calendar has come to an end and to do something a little different, I decided to bring you a kind of lookbook featuring the items we received this year, showcasing some styling ideas for the fashion and jewelry pieces.

From December 1st to December 25th, we received daily items, a mix of jewelry, accessories, clothing and decor pieces. Some were available for starcoins, but most were, as usual, sold for stardollars. During these 25 days, we could see Christmas themed pieces alongside festive and fashionable items.

I’d say some of the most liked were the 1st - Snowflake Collar and the 6th - Studded Red Leather Boots, which avrilllavigner perfectly combined into a festive look. In contrast, we have mulevar also styling the collar as a detail under the shirt, along with the controversial 11th - Plaid Mini Skirt. Some loved the item, while others disliked the way it was illustrated, but here she definitely delivered a great styling of the skirt, combining a street-style but still keeping it festive with the bag.

Another item that wasn’t very well received among players was 2nd - Chanel Sweater Dress. I saw many people complaining about it being a single piece instead of a separate skirt and sweater, like in real life. Personally, I’m not a big fan of it either, as it feels a bit hard to style. That said, Hyn created a very fashionable look by using it as a skirt, pairing it with the puffy blouse and vintage styled hair, which gave the item a completely different aura.

Maria_julia25, on the other hand, decided to let it shine on its own and added a fun touch with the 10th - Reindeer Holiday Headband. It’s great to see people styling some starcoins pieces and really making the most of what they have to offer.

MissNyx decided to go for a casual street style using the 9th - Diamond Quilted Jacket, which is an interesting piece but, I must say, very hard to style (I can say that properly, as I tried it myself). Still, it’s quite versatile, in it's way, and allows for different styling approaches if you get creative.
After seeing these amazing takes on the holiday calendar items, of course I had to give some of them a try as well.I decided to start with items that weren’t very praised (even by me), like the already mentioned 9th - Diamond Quilted Jacket, which allowed me to go for a preppy style.

I don’t know why, but while styling it, I thought it would make a good duo with another item I mentioned here that felt kind of boring (and honestly, it really is): the 20th - Sleigh Sweater. After managing to style it properly, I actually started liking it a bit more.

To keep the duo outfits matching, next I chose what I think are my favorite items from the calendar: the set composed of the 16th - Grey Fur Mini Dress, 17th - Fur Hat, and 17th - Fur Gloves.

Of course, I didn’t want to style them all together, as that would just be putting a complete look back on. Instead, I decided to keep them separate, just like they were released in the calendar and created two outfits inspired by the “Artic Allure” theme, which, in case you haven’t heard yet, is the theme for submitting suggestions for the January 2026 Outfit of the Month.

Continuing my journey through the Calendar, I couldn’t leave out the most "difficult" pieces to style, since they are kind of “complete” on their own, both dresses: the 25th - Green Plaid Dress and the 22nd - Vintage Tree Dress.

For the first one, I simply added a few accessories and voilà, we have a look perfect for a gala. As for the second, I fully embraced the camp vibe, added some extra Christmas themed accessories and themed shoes and it was ready for a crazy Christmas look competition.

To end this journey, and not turn it into a longer list of looks (more than it already is), I decided to pair some pieces that made sense in my head.

Starting off, I used two items that I really liked: the 4th - Pink Leather Trench and the 8th Charm Plaid Bag. It turned into a cute outfit, perfect for going for a walk on a not-so-cold day.

Next, I paired the 21st - Emerald Lace Boots with the 11th - Plaid Mini Skirt (which was already shown here, but in my defense, I needed something to style the boots with). I came up with a look I like to call “from night party to a daytime family trip on Christmas Day”, all thanks to the messy suitcase, that gave the vibe that there was no time to pack after partying all night long.

And lastly, I matched the 23rd - Burgundy Dior Bag with the 13th - Maroon Velvet Peacoat. This one was truly a pain point for me, as I had no idea how to style such a piece, but it ended up working as a more formal autumn/winter daytime look.

From the start of the month, I had the idea of buying all the Holiday Calendar items to create this type of post for the blog. However, throughout the days I had very mixed feelings about the items and I almost dropped the idea. But it was already too far along, I had bought most of them, so I decided to keep going.

In the end, I feel like it was really worth it, as I was able to see the potential of the items, even if most of them don’t match my personal style.

I also hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to share your thoughts on the pieces, the looks and even your own creations using the Calendar items here.
