Happy Halloweenie dolls!

Instead of #DecorSunday I bring you today a special suite design in honor of Halloween!

Since I'm not good at spooky suites I did a Halloween dinner scene because spooky treats are my fav to be honest it's the most I like about this holiday aside from like horror movies...

To start this suite I decided to go for a neutral color with DIY Concrete Wall plus the Classic Wooden Floor

I used the Easter Dinning Table by Special Offer (the one from the GoM) to give a modern look and the fact that is black is perfect! 

Now comes the fun part: the Halloween Cabinet Decor from Kitsch give us a variety of spooky food and decor in just one object so I put in the table and voila! Our food for the dinner party is done but of course when are not finished we need to add decorations for our guests

Above our window the Treat or Trick Sign, on the fireplace, on the floor the Glass Pumpkin Set and in the wall the Eyeball Feather Wreath sets the mood, I mostly went for items from the Kitsch store instead of Fallen Angel Decor because of the cute yet spooky aesthetic Kitsch have

Now we have a simple Halloween party but we cannot forget something for our suite... The special guest Salem !

Yesterday's release brought a new selection of "Celeb Fit" looks to Stardoll. The store’s window featured three celebrity-inspired outfits as usual. Originally, the concept aimed to draw ideas from the Instagram tag #stardoll_celeb_fit, but it appears the tag didn’t gain enough traction. As a result, the Stardoll team now sources ideas from the Royalty Club, where all the selected looks were recently highlighted. This was a good idea, as some players were concerned that the Stardoll team was prioritizing external requests over in-game preferences.

This month’s picks include outfits worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Slayyyter, and Lady Gaga. Slayyyter’s - who I didn't knew until this releseale came out, and still don't know who's she tbh - Blumarine outfit, also was once used by Brittany Murphy in Uptown Girls movie. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore an all-brown look to the Saint Laurent SS25 show, while Lady Gaga showcased a harlequin inspired outfit for an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

After five years without any updates, today’s release is a new Bod Mod collection! Yes, the last time we saw a collection from this amazing store was in 2018, can you believe it? 

Luckily, they remembered it exists, as it’s known for serving iconic collections.

This Halloween themed release brings nine new costumes to Starplaza, featuring a mix of pieces that goes from The Chronicles of Narnia characters to Mugler couture. While a bit more cohesion between the costumes could have made this an even more impressive collection, it’s still a great addition overall.

Almost all the decor I've shown here are living rooms and such so of course soon or later I would bring a kitchen or a bedroom since Stardoll gives us a lot of bedroom and kitchen furniture today I bring you a modern bedroom with a dark color palette in honor of Halloween

Even though I prefer lighter colors in suites this is one of my favorite rooms I've made so far!

I went with all black walls using Stardesign squares and using grey squares to act as a trim to separate a little the bed section from the wardrobe and bookcase and make it a focal point

I used the King Size Bed by LE as a start and instead of a straight rug I used the Marble Rug by Pretty in Love, which since it's angled is kinda difficult to use but it looked so good! It's like when you are building in The Sims 4 and you hit that alt placement to tilt objects a little bit

I didn't want to use a ceiling lamp so I went with the Twin Lights from Popshop, palso from that brand the That's 70 Painting gives us that modern abstract feeling 

I put the Bookshelf from Fashion Furniture to add something more interesting and the fact that is angled also works 

On the other side of the room I filled the Designer Closet Grey from Basics Decor with books, shoes, plants and such because cluttering always makes a difference!

This Friday’s release is exclusive for Royalty users, with the collection launching in the Royalty store.

We have two new floors in the store showcasing some elegant outfits, maintaining the store’s signature aesthetic. In total, there are 10 new looks, with only one designed for male dolls. 

This release includes some pieces inspired by Schiaparelli, Rodarte, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Alaïa and other designers as well. Maybe the most desired look from this collection will be the D&G outfit as it was once worn by Kim Kardashian.

This time, the 90s and early 2000s took over the new Vinyl release, bringing us some of the most iconic outfits from movies and TV shows of those decades.

The collection pays tribute to Cher from Clueless (1995), Jenna from 13 Going on 30 (2004), Regina George from Mean Girls (2004), Fran Fine from The Nanny (1993-1999), and Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003). For the boys, they’ve included Spider-Man’s costume from the 2002 movie and Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean saga, both of which are also available for female dolls.

I’m still trying to figure out what the Marge Simpson outfit that Cardi B wore as a halloween costume in 2023 is doing here, as it feels out of context with the rest of the store. Another thing that bothered me was the high heels they added to the Buffy outfit. I know we already have a lot of boots in the game, but they could have made one more pair just for her.

Today's release is a new Velvet Orchid collection, and it's also in the Halloween spirit, much like most of the stores this month.

Similar to the recent Kitsch decor collection, this Velvet Orchid got inspiration from pop culture films and series, such as Agatha All Along and Hocus Pocus. The collection features 26 new pieces, with some items having two versions, like the BP jewelry, and one set offering male versions.

As speculated yesterday, today’s Young Hollywood collection is indeed inspired by the 2024 Video Music Awards (VMAs) and the 2024 Emmy Awards red carpet.

The collection adds three new floors to the YH store. The first two floors feature outfits from the MTV event on September 11th, including some of the night’s most talked-about looks, like Sabrina Carpenter’s homage to Madonna and Megan Thee Stallion’s replica of Britney Spears' iconic I'm A Slave 4 U performance from the 2001 VMAs. Stardoll's favorite Taylor Swift has two looks included, as does new artist Chappell Roan, whose sword accessory is also part of the collection.

As for the Emmy Awards section, there is only one floor. Honestly, I don’t remember seeing much buzz about the red carpet looks from the event on September 15th, so it makes sense that they selected just a few outfits.

The Stardoll illustration team is really into halloween season and the proof is with today's new release, this time a decor collection from the Kitsch store.

It features two new floors with Halloween themed decor pieces. My favorites are Salem, the cat from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and the Hex Girls poster. The rest of the collection is also includes more items inspired by pop culture shows like Charmed, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Halloweentown.

After a 12-hour maintenance, which might have ended earlier without making any noticeable changes, this Monday's release finally arrived at Starplaza: a new Fallen Angel collection.

It's great to see another goth inspired collection for this Halloween month. The collection features only a few pieces, some of which have male versions, while the jewelry items are available in the Beauty Parlor and suite versions and including two starcoins items. It perfectly captures the dark and sexy atmosphere that most recent Fallen Angel collections are known for.

I must admit Halloween suite decor is not my strong suit I never did any spooky suites before even though I do love Halloween, scary movies and video games...

So this week I decided to do something modern with a hint of spooky and this was the result:

My inspiration was the goth subculture but making it chic and modern (and a little minimalist since I didn't clutter it that much) black floors and black walls are hard to work with but they make such an elegant room!

To make the walls I used Black Double Door Closed from DIY that way we can add detail and texture we can't get with star design squares

As a base to our suite I used the latest Tingeling interior to add a spooky exterior for our windows but to also add colors to our palette

I didn't want to use all black furniture so we can play a little bit with colors and that's where the Green Velvet Sofa from Minimalism came in handy, not only gives us a simple couch to work with but also matches with our Tingeling interior!

The Display Shelf from Fantasy Hotels is one of my favorite items for modem suites, is simple and has great clutter pieces in it, great for decorate when you don't feel like adding too much

Adding stuff from Fallen Angel decor is a must when doing these suites, i used the Coffin Pillow here (which is super cute btw)

Stardoll continues its Halloween celebration with the latest Tingeling release, which feels like it could belong in a "Tingeling Halloween Couture" collection. 

The store features two new floors with 10 outfits, including one male look that is also available for female dolls. The collection delivers a dark, high-fashion aesthetic perfect for the spooky season.

However, there are only two pairs of shoes, which is a bit disappointing considering the recent lack of accessories in various releases. It would have been nice to see some bags and jewelry to complete the mannequins' outfits.

Overall, while the items might not appeal to everyone due to its unique and unusual style, the quality of the pieces is impressive and fitting for the aesthetic of the collection.
