DIY

DIY
Today's release is an all-new DIY collection, for those who like to decorate from scratch.

Presenting 4 floors that contain fences, columns, porch railings, and of course new tile and wallpaper patterns, it also includes 2 new window models. The building items are available in 4 different colors: black, white, dark wood, and light wood.

Celeb Fit

Celeb Fit
Today's release is a new Celeb Fit window, again containing 3 outfits inspired by the latest celebrity looks. This time, they chose looks inspired by Hunter Schafer, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Bella Hadid.

With this 2nd release of Celeb Fit, I've learned that the store is a "limited" type. As a new release hits Starplaza, the previous one is removed from the store. So, we basically have a month to buy the items we like, or we'll have to buy them only when available in Bazaar. It's sad because I hadn't bought all the items I wanted from the previous month's collection, which I could have done if I knew they would remove the last window with a new collection coming.

The real-life versions of these looks were worn by Anya Taylor-Joy at the Furiosa (2024) photocall in London, Bella Hadid without any specific occasion (as far as I could find), and Hunter Schafer at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

Underneath Stardoll

Underneath Stardoll
Starting the week with an unexciting release under Underneath Stardoll. I'm already tired of so much lingerie being released lately in different brands.

The collection has 2 new floors containing 12 lingerie and sleepwear items, 2 of them being for male dolls. At first sight, there's nothing interesting; it's more of the same collections released before.

As for the SS weekly gift, we received the Sheer Rose Bodysuit. So if you liked it, at least you have a chance to get it for free this week.

The JetSet

The JetSet

Apparently, it's a new thing to release the Friday collection early, as today's store arrived with the singing of the birds (at least for me).

It's a new JetSet collection, as everyone might have already noticed, and it brings some outfits inspired by Nina Ricci, Christian Siriano, Avellano, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and of course, some looks worn by Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kristen Stewart. The only one I couldn't find the inspiration for was the black bodysuit on the second floor.

Sadly, the belt from Gigi's trousers is attached to the pants, I wish they were separate pieces. The green plastic dress looks way more interesting in real life than in this Stardoll version. Overall, it's a good collection, even though some looks don't seem cohesive enough to call it a collection.

As asked in the comments, here are the real life versions of the looks:

Epiphany x Valentino Zodiac Jewellery

Epiphany x Valentino Zodiac Jewellery
The Gemini season started in Stardoll yesterday with the release of the Valentino-inspired necklace (and earrings, of course).

I must congratulate Vulacano because he managed to make this one as ugly as the real-life version of the pendant. I also need to say that I'm happy because this series is almost over.

For those who are interested in acquiring any of these pieces, you have until 21/06 to do so, as they will be removed from the plaza to make room for the next zodiac sign.

Here you can take a look at the real-life version that inspired this month's jewelry set:

9 to 5

9 to 5

It's time to bake, dolls! We started this Monday with a new job option for our dolls with the release of a bakery-themed 9 to 5 collection.

It's a two-floor release containing baking-related items. We can find everything from cooking supplies and ingredients to display cases, perfect for decorating your own bakery shop. The only thing I miss here is more display options; a front-sided one would be nice.
The prices look great as well, not overpriced like some recent releases, and you can also find items for starcoins.

Stardoll Dresser Games #7

Stardoll Dresser Games #7

Hello, hello, dolls! Welcome to the 7th edition of the Stardoll Dresser Games. Sorry for bringing another word search this month, it's because it's the easy one to make, but I promisse I'll try to create a new game for next month.

In this word search you can find 19 names of tributes that were released in Starplaza, it can be decor or fashion. But to make it easy to find the tributes, the word list is located below the letter grid.

The words are arranged only horizontally and vertically, some of them are backward. After finding all the tributes, post the answers in the comments. You must save the image and use an editor to circle or highlight the names. The first commenter who finds all the words right will win one of the May OotM.

Good luck y'll!

Vinyl

Vinyl
Some still had hopes of getting a second part of Young Hollywood inspired by the MET Gala today, but those hopes sank as today's early release was a new Vinyl collection.

This collection reminded me of the Decades aesthetic, especially the Dior set, and I'm in love with it. There are 2 pieces for starcoins (the fedora hat on the male mannequin and the cropped blouse on the last mannequin, both on the first floor). I'm sad because there are no bags or jewelry to complement these outfits in the store.

Fallen Angel Decor

Fallen Angel Decor
Oh, well... Apparently someone forgot to post about yesterday's store release, and that someone was me... Sorry! Anyways, here it is to keep track of the releases here on the blog.

This Wednesday we haven't worn pink as the release brought a darker gothic atmosphere to Stardoll in a new Fallen Angel Decor, which is absolutely stunning.

The release has 2 new floors. In the first one, we can see a kind of desk room with a steampunk aesthetic, while the second floor brings a room with vintage furniture. The only complaint about it is that I think they could have added a bed that matched the rest of the furniture.

I think it's too early to start thinking about Halloween, but I'll for sure buy some of these for decorating my rooms.

Original Future

Original Future
Oh well... I have no words to talk about this Monday collection. I gasped when I logged in and saw some of the pieces on the front page and was trying to gather the courage to see the full store.

It's a new Original Future, as everyone can see (I wish I couldn't), and it brought a few questionable items to Starplaza.

Original Future is a store that I like because it always brings some interesting pieces, but this time they made no effort to create a good collection. Still, I bought the 3 starcoins items, even knowing I might never style the Face Puffer Coat (it might cause me nightmares).

Young Hollywood

Young Hollywood

The 4th Young Hollywood release of this year arrived at Starplaza, bringing some of the 2024 MET Gala red carpet looks. It's been a lot of YH releases so far, and we're just in May. It's been basically one collection per month.

Some of the most commented looks from the night are there, like the ones worn by Kendaya, Tyla, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, JLo, and Elle Fanning, while others haven't made it to the store, like the ones worn by Lana del Rey, Sydney Sweeney, and Ariana Grande.

I think the players' most expectations were in the Balmain's sand dress (me included), but it's a little disappointing that its graphics are meh... But, in general, it was a good release.

50% more stardollars for YH

50% more stardollars for YH

After the MET Gala this past Monday, we're already anticipating an upcoming Young Hollywood release, and it was just confirmed today with a 50% top-up offer on selected packages, plus a free gift available for every superstar or Stardollars purchase.

The free dress is inspired by a Givenchy Haute Couture from the S/S 1997 collection and it's a design by Alexander McQueen. Kendall Jenner was the one who wore it for the MET Gala after-party. You can see her wearing the real-life version of the winged dress below:
