This week started with the release of a new The JetSet collection. As usual, the collection is available only for those who have an active Superstar subscription.

The full collection looks a little messy, but some pieces are really great for styling in other settings that aren't the floor of this store. Personally, the flower dress is one of my favorite pieces here. The crystal Crocs also look cute, but not together with the dress.

 This week took place the seventh Callie Con event in Stardoll, this year's theme was Hello Kitty!

Even though I expected a decor release inspired in the iconic feline we only got plushies on Monday's Otherworld release so I challenge myself to do something with them

When I started designing this suite I was going for gamer girl room but it wasn't giving... I needed more neon lights and gamer inspired furniture, so that vision quickly transformed into this:

It ended as home office space with the Sanrio characters in full display I played with the sizes of the items this time while decorating, instead of putting furniture in the default size and in the back of the suite I sized up the desk and put it in front, that way it gives us the illusion that the suite is bigger and add more emphasis to that area 

The desk is our focal point in this suite and since it's very big we can fill it with clutter! I added the Badtz Maru plushie, speakers and plants and books to create the perfect set up, I don't know if you can see it but in the Art director chair from 9 to 5 I put the Hello Kitty and friends pillow from the Target freebie collection 

I wanted to give a casual/relaxed vibe so I added the Shabby Chic Large Crate from Callie's pop up shop and add the other Sanrio plushies (Kuromi, Chococat, Cinnamoroll) and Mystic Star Lights from Otherworld and to be honest kinda looks like a YouTuber recording room with the plushies in the back lol 

Finally details: books, cute cat , ceiling lights and plants, I did the same trick as before with the plant here: putting it in the corner so only the leaves can show I recommend putting plants in corners like this for more detail. I also added more clutter to the Set Of Shelves from Minimalism like a combination of the Oregano plant and Wall Shelf Plant to make my own hanging plant from the shelf!

Since yesterday, a new Callie Con contest is available to join. This time, it’s a scenery decor contest where you have to create an ice cream shop inspired by Hello Kitty. Once again, there are no specific recommendations for using items from the Hello Kitty Otherworld store.

Today, a live event will take place on Stardoll's official Instagram account, hosted by Vulacano, where he will answer questions submitted through the Instagram question box yesterday. The live session will begin at 6pm CEST time.

According to Vulacano, everyone who watches the live will receive a special gift. To claim it, you just need to write your nickname in the comments during the live. Those who correctly answer the quiz questions will also win additional rewards.

This 26th, a new contest activity from Callie Con was released: the Style Trial. As you can see on the contest page, which is also attached below, to be eligible to win this competition, you must create an outfit that contains at least one piece from the Otherworld Hello Kitty themed collection.

Today, I was hoping for a Callie's Picks release featuring the old Sanrio Friends collection from Target, which was released around 2010. But instead, we got the final zodiac sign from the special Epiphany x Valentino Zodiac Jewellery collection.

In one hand, I'm happy this project is finally over, but on the other, I'm a bit sad because I was really hoping for another Callie Con themed release. I still hope that by the end of the event, they remember the collection I mentioned earlier and release it in Callie's Picks or Archive.

Now, back to the actual release: Libra is the final zodiac sign, and it comes in the usual three colors, with both BP and Suite versions of each item. Below, you can check out the real-life version of the necklace:

Following the schedule, the second contest (though it isn’t really a contest) of Callie Con 2024 is the Ask Me Anything (AMA). In this activity, you can send questions to the Stardoll staff, and they will pick some to answer on the Stardoll blog page. Like last year, this AMA might also happen during an Instagram live, with Vulacano answering some questions. The live questions will be asked during the event, not the ones we submit through the contest page.

The bug of the empty gift box was finally fixed, and for participating we received this beautiful brooch.

It's inspired by the Hello Kitty Embroided Flower from GCDS. 

The first activity from Callie Con was added and it's the Stardoll Next Top Hair Artist competition.

The rules for this competition are basicaly:

1. Create a hair design inspired by Hello Kitty (but not following the theme won't interfere, as we saw last year);
2. The design must be made by you. Asking someone else to create it on your account is not allowed, and such actions may result in your account being deleted (though we know this rule isn’t always enforced, but…).

You can submit your entry until September 26th, as shown in the screenshot above. By entering, you'll receive two Hello Kitty tees - one male and one female. If you're not good at designing, like me, you can submit any picture to get the free items.

Stardoll kicked off the Callie Con season today, as the Stardoll Admin just sent out the freebies for the event. You can find all the gift boxes in your suites. Apparently, the main color for this year's event is orange, which I don’t quite understand why. Given the theme, red would’ve made more sense, in my opinion.
