Aparently the only Halloween celebration we're going to have in Stardoll this year is a photo contest. You can find it in the contest page or by clicking this link. You have until November 8th to participate.

It seems like the new normal for Stardoll releases is being late, but today's collection took tardiness to a whole new level. Anyways, it's better late than never, right?

The Velvet Orchid collection is very small, just like the previous ones from all the brands. It seems like the design team is understaffed due to the lack of items in recent releases. However, I've heard that Vulacano was training two new people, who also play Stardoll, to be part of the design team. So, let's hope this can lead to improvements in the future.

Gossip aside, let's back to this release again... At this point, I believe everyone was waiting for a Halloween costume store, given that we only had a decor-themed one this month. However, we got something different instead.

For this week's ss free gift, Stardoll chose the Hippie Van Bag from last Friday's Vinyl release. I'm happy with this choice as I think it's a cute bag, but I didn't want to buy it because I'm not a big fan of crossbody bags. Having it for free is great to try and create a new look.

Well, I forgot that yesterday was Friday, so I was confused when I logged into Stardoll and saw some new pieces in the 'new items' section. Now that I've moved past the confusion, let's get to the point of this post: the new Vinyl collection.

This week, the free SS gift is the dusty round table from last week's Kitsch release. Don't forget to claim it, even if you already purchased it when the store was released. It's always good to have some nice decor to use when needed!

I think today's release caught everyone by surprise. Personally, I was expecting something Halloween-related, maybe a Callie's Pics. However, Stardoll announced that from now on, we'll have a monthly release of Valentino-inspired Zodiac Jewelry.

These jewelry pieces are inspired by the Valentino spring/summer 2014 collection. The first one to be featured is the Scorpio one, as we've just entered the Scorpio season on october 23.

This Monday's release, which almost arrived on Tuesday, is a new Basics collection. It has only one floor, composed of 8 pieces, each of which comes in 6 colors.

As announced yesterday, with the top-up of 50% more Stardollars, today's release is Subcouture. It's been a few hours since the store was added to starplaza and it's already making waves among players.

Welcome to our first Miss Stardoll-oween!

This competition is for the otherworldly dolls! You can be a vampire queen, zombie princess, skeleton diva, or any other drop-dead beauty.

It seems like the Halloween spirit has finally reached Stardoll, as this Wednesday's release is a new Kitsch floor featuring some creepy decor pieces.

There's a total of 18 new items, 2 of them for sc. I really like the 'fog' and the fact that they included it in a Kitsch release, as the old 'white smoke,' a very wanted item for creating a fog effect, was initially released under this brand. However, I don't like its price, as 20sds seems quite salty for such a simple item like this.

The interior also looks great but unfortunately it's not available for sale in the store or in catalogue.

Earlier today, the official Stardoll Instagram account posted a story containing some GIFs of the most iconic Disney characters, congratulating the realm of magic on its 100th anniversary. I shared the image on the chat page, suggesting that this might be a hint for the next release, and it turns out I was right. As a new Museum Mile collection has arrived at Starplaza, inspired by Disney princesses and villains, including items featuring the most famous rat of all, Mickey Mouse, of course!

Snow White is my favorite Disney princess, so I was very disappointed when I saw the look they chose to represent her. It's so flat, clumsy, and graceless. I understand the concept of the collection, imagining what the princesses would wear as regular girls, and some of the contemporary makeovers that illustrators usually do are amazing. However, in this case, it's not good.

To avoid saying that I hated everything, I should mention that I liked the bags, Belle's jacket, Ariel's bra, and the net top; they all look cool. Cruella's look seems to have potential as well. But overall, it's a fail – no happy ever after for this release.

Apparently, the poor Callie's Picks decor from Wednesday didn't mean that the Stardoll illustrators team were working on anything limited, as today's release is Royalty.

What appeared to be a release-free Wednesday turned into a very late Callie's Picks Decor drop. The store N42 has an 'Autumn Vibes' theme, but 'we had nothing prepared for today, so we picked some random item numbers and released it' would have suited it better. 

When we click to see the rest of the collection, we can find out that it's this window with only 8 items.

 This Monday (09/10), Starplaza received a new Fallen Angel collection. There are 19 items added to the store, but I had the sensation that there were fewer items, as it's a very small collection.

Okay... I don't know how to start talking about today's release. I just need to say that it was a shock for me when I opened Starplaza and saw the new window there.

That time of the year is approaching for our dolls. As October begins, the Miss Stardoll World competition is drawing near, bringing with it all the excitement to win the crown. As a warm-up, just like last year, Stardoll is hosting a competition on Instagram for users to suggest the color for MSW 2023.

To participate in this official Stardoll competition, all you have to do is select a color, create a layout using the chosen color - it can include pictures with ideas for dresses, crowns, decorations, etc. - and explain why you want this color to be used for this year's MSW. Don't forget to include your doll's name somewhere in the post, along with the #MSW2023color tag. 

Those whose colors are chosen will win a prize. If it's like last year, the prize will be a special sash.

On Wednesday we wear Outfit of the Month! 

The first outfit was sent by the doll Vinicius. I really love the D&G bag; the work Vulacano did in adding all the details here is amazing! The Poster Girl dress and Jacquemus necklace and earrings set also look lovely, and we got another color for the Versace Medusa Platforms collection. It makes me wonder if we'll get one in each color available for sale.

All the outfits, not including both versions of the jewelry set, cost 111sd*. The dress is the most expensive piece in the look, but I think we're already accustomed to the high prices of the main pieces in OotM.

As October began, I was expecting Stardoll to introduce some spookiness to the site, such as creepy decor items or costumes. However, they surprised us with a super colorful It Girls collection instead.
